Lum-Lung is a terrific all-around player, indoor and on the beach. It was reflected in her All-League Honors following the high school season; she played RS/OH and setter and was among the best in the NPSL. Lum-Lung is back in the libero jersey for Sudden Impact and was right back to passing dimes and digging up swings at the Matt Hartner Classic.

Lum-Lung has great all-around tools as displayed by her effort during the high school season, on the beach, and the early part of the club schedule. She understands the game well through the ball control phase that helps to stabilize her team’s effort. An athletic and rangy talent at 5’7, she earned 1.8 k/s for Kentridge while leading them defensively at over 10 digs per match in the 2025 high school season. Competing for Sudden Impact’s top 16U team, they recently finished 7th overall playing up in the combined 17/18 division at the annual Matt Hartner Memorial Classic.

Lum-Lung is a playmaker; the Kentridge sophomore can hang in and handle high heat from attackers and is a calm, accurate passer in serve receive. She is a highly ranked beach player, and she has the vision and feel that you see from a sand player of her caliber playing defense indoors. Lum-Lung glides into position to pick up tips and shots; she is terrific at reading opposing hitters and setters.

Lum-Lung is making her case as one of the top liberos in the 2028 class. She has elite quickness and a terrific feel for the game. Her time on the sand has honed her ability to read shots and adjust her angles to keep the SIVBC offense in system. She sets the ball accurately with her platform and has a good jump float serve that dances low across the net with pace and low rotation.

Lum-Lung is a terrific beach prospect. She started for Kentridge at the libero spot and stepped into the setting role when needed. As a defender, she has excellent reactions and hands. Lum-Lung gets a solid read on hitters and has a feel for the game that excellent sand players display.
