Dynamic Defenders in the 2028 Libero Rankings

The top part of the libero prospects in the update rankings are excellent overall players who can do just about everything you could want out of a libero prospect. Serve receive, defense, and out-of-system setting- they are all an important part of these libero games. We profile our top three here, along with several others throughout the rankings update.    Bentosino remains the top libero in the updated rankings; her combination of control and quickness as a defender and rock-solid passing in serve receive is special. There are other liberos who may have similar speed and skills to get to swings and off-speed; Bentosino gets there and then gives her setter something to work with from almost any body position. She is playing with the Space Needle 17's; she will be a big part of their plans as they work for a bid, starting at Northern Lights this weekend.      Iseminger was a defensive lynchpin for Lake Stevens' outstanding 4A State Championship run and has moved into the #17 overall position in the rankings. She is a steady performer in serve receive, an excellent athlete, and a leader who can make plays at crucial times. Her Blue Royals 16 Emerald squad will be very competitive this club season.      Lum-Lung is a terrific all-around player, indoor and on the beach. It was reflected in her All-League Honors following the high school season; she played RS/OH and setter and was among the best in the NPSL. Lum-Lung is back in the libero jersey for Sudden Impact and was right back to passing dimes and digging up swings at the Matt Hartner Classic.      The North Creek sophomore is a tough, athletic defender who can rally her team with a skidding save on a huge swing. Voter is the #12 libero in the rankings and plays with passion and hustle every time she steps on the court. Her Falcon Elite (FEVA) team will not be an easy out for anyone this season, and Voter can be a difference maker for her squad.     Deresh lands at #88 overall in the updated rankings; she was excellent for Inglemoor, handling more than her share of serves as a passer and posting solid dig numbers. She will be part of a scrappy, tough defensive group for Blue Royals, and that will suit her skills and tough-minded mentality perfectly.     Demirjian is a player on the way up; her NCWVBC 16 Gold team just won the Colorado Crossroads 16 Classic Red Division in impressive fashion. The Wenatchee sophomore has a long reach, is a terrific athlete, and has years of beach experience. Demirjian is well-trained in her craft and competitive; she is currently the #100 overall player in the updated rankings.     The Gig Harbor 2028 prospect operates smoothly on the back line and sees and reacts to tips and shots without wasted movement. Glogovac stops her feet at just the right moment and moves from a solid base to play the ball. Glogovac is a defender to watch, playing for the Dakine 16 National team; the team will face tough competition, and we expect her to be up for the challenge.     Logan is a determined, skilled player who can step in and play on the outside if her team needs her in a pinch. The Southridge High School stand-out is playing for Shockwave again this season and is showcasing her defensive ability at the libero and OH position when the team was down a few players. Logan is an excellent defender who has put in the work to build her platform and footwork. She is the 83rd-ranked player overall in the updated rankings.
