January Classic 16Open: DS/Liberos Worthy of More Attention

<p>The January Classic was full of amazing talent on all courts. There was too much volleyball for one person to watch, but I did my best to catch as much as possible and note players that excelled. She pairs a nice, tough float serve with major hustle, immediately putting pressure on opponents and then backing it up with strong defensive play. Hayden's quick reactions and fearless effort make it hard to get a clean hit past her, as she is constantly reading, moving, and extending plays. Her energy and determination set the tone for her team's defense.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Raydon Stewart is a DS/Libero for Tejas 16 Black who brings quickness, efficiency, and a high level of defensive awareness to the backcourt. She moves with purpose and has a great read on the game, consistently putting herself in the right position to make plays. It's clear she is not new to running the backcourt, as her composure and instincts show on every rally. Raydon's experience and steady defensive presence make her a trusted leader in serve receive and defense.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Olivia Vincent is a DS/Libero for Tejas 16 Black who serves as the vocal leader of the back row. On every play, she is communicating with her teammates, helping organize the defense and keep everyone confident and connected. Olivia pairs that leadership with a tough lefty serve and a strong, reliable pass to back it up.
