New Names to Know in Nebraska 2027 Rankings Update (Pt. 2)

It's the perfect way to usher in another exciting twelve months on the site, and the 2027s are getting the party started.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This week's features have already covered plenty of ground, from <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/uncommitted-tourney-gems-rising-in-nebraska-2027-rankings/">tournament standouts</a> to <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/more-recruitable-2027s-climbing-in-nebraska-2027-rankings/">under-the-radar stock risers</a>. Haun leads us off after racking up almost two kills per set on a 0.268 clip last fall. Louisville has found various ways to wield its star middle blocker and give Haun as much attacking volume as possible. The junior is particularly adept at the "slow quick" that allows her harness even more range in front of the setter. Lemmer responded to this challenge and thrived in multiple positions for the Bulldogs. She's a classic setter-hitter hybrid who can fill up the box score in every way imaginable. Lemmer piled up over two kills per set and nearly three assists per set, providing all-around leadership during the fall grind. Van Ranken made an immediate jump into our 2027 rankings after anchoring Amherst's title-winning frontcourt. This imposing middle blocker brought her best when the stakes were highest, putting down 15 kills in each of Amherst's wins in the first two rounds of the state tournament. Van Ranken also churns out the positive block touches and transition opportunities that won't show up in a box score. Clarke has been the model of consistency at Omaha Roncalli Catholic over the past two seasons, notching over seven assists per set since the beginning of 2024. The Crimson Pride have made tremendous strides along the way and just enjoyed their first winning season in four years. She took the reins of the Cardinal offense as a sophomore and was even better as an upperclassman. Her 9.4 assists per set ranked among the best in Class D2, and it manifested in the win column during the Cardinals' 24-8 run. Even when she's not receiving ideal passes, Peterson gets squared to the ball and dishes perfect out-of-system sets to the outside. Fulton's uptick in defensive production was staggering, yielding 7.2 digs per set for Creighton High School. The junior refuses to let off-speed shots drop and will not hesitate to step into open seams. Gritty back-row effort translated to unprecedented success as Creighton posted its best single-season winning percentage since 2021. Sindelar is the latest Jaguar to enter our database following her 300-plus dig campaign in 2025. This libero's influence wasn't limited to making sprawling saves, as Sindelar also excelled behind the service line and in the passing pattern.
