There is always something fun about the Prep Dig Resolution thats a little different than other events. I have been at every Resolution since our first back in 2020 and this year I was able to hang out at a different location - The Barn, home of [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] which was the host for the 15 Club and 16 Club Divisions.

I will have plenty of reports from the weekend, but I have a top ten of who really performed well at a high level over the weekend. Let's take a look.

[player_tooltip player_id='743023' first='Kayana' last='Turner'] was a a major difference maker for Spiketown 16.3 who took home the 16 Club title. The sophomore at Oshkosh West is a six rotation outside hitter where she makes others around her better. Her movement is smooth, she makes a lot of athletic plays that look relatively easy. She came up big! She was there time and time again in the championship match vs Wisconsin Flight where she can take a ball out of system and score points or make the high IQ play to keep it alive. For her ability to blast a hard cross court shot, she can also use a tip or roll shot to keep the defense off balanced.

[program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 15 Black took home the title in 15 Club. A major difference maker out of the middle was Chloee Hietpas. The Class of 2029 prospect had a knack for the ball where her block caused a lot of problems for the opposing side of the net. She was everywhere. I was impressed with her lateral movement and body control where she was able to get pressed over the net blocking the ball back into the court. Offensively she knew to go to the deep corners but also effectively used the offspeed shot. This will be an exciting regional team to keep tabs on this winter.

So explosive! [player_tooltip player_id='932246' first='Brinley' last='Vogt'] was a gamechanger for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 15 Black enroute to the title. The Class of 2029 outside hitter who preps at Manitowoc Lutheran just bounces off the ground when she skies to attack the ball. She might look like a defensive specialist, but her ability to score points makes her one of the most dangerous players on the court. Her kills lit a fire in her team where they generated so much energy off of her swings. In the backrow she was able to be effective in serve receive and provide a swing where she really showed her IQ in when to go for the kill and when to prolong the rally.

Tempo 16 Royal was a highly talented squad out of the Waterloo area with one of the top attackers from the Class of 2029 on the roster. [player_tooltip player_id='522967' first='Lilli' last='Lauersdorf'] brings a big arm to the court where she is a lethal scorer from the outside and the backrow. She also has a top spin jump serve that can score plenty of points as well. Tempo 16 Royal had quite a battle with Flight 16 Black in the semifinals with Flight winning, but Tempo made a statement that they will be ones to watch this season with some 2029s playing up at the 16s level. Many of the athletes on this squad will look to advance one more stage in the post season for Waterloo in 2026 which would land them in the state tournament.

The [program_tooltip program_id='431905' first='Coulee' last='Region Power'] 15s came over from Western Wisconsin and made quite a statement at the Prep Dig Resolution. An outside hitter who caught plenty of attention was Emerson Holst who is a freshman at West Salem High School. She is a true six rotation outside hitter who can score from the pin and the backrow. There is no fear in her swing where she can reach high to contact and finds the split or can use a variety of shots to put points up on the board. With her swing it seemed like this team was never out of system. They finished runner up in 15 Club and will be exciting to watch develop over the season.

There was a definite spark to the game of [player_tooltip player_id='880136' first='Addison' last='Purkis'] of WI Flight 15 Black. The lefty setter who preps at Waupaca High School was able to find her attackers, defend her position, and score points on her own. She is multidimensional with an all around skill set that really is an “X-Factor” for her WI Flight team.

A fundamentally sound all around game. That's a dream for coaches, but tough to find. [player_tooltip player_id='847453' first='Olivia' last='Larson'] has it for Spiketown 16.3. The combination of Larson and [player_tooltip player_id='743023' first='Kayana' last='Turner'] was a winning formula for this squad who took home the 16 Club title. Larson was able to hit the right shots from the outside, but also brought a steadiness to the backrow. She is dependable in serve receive and has an sharp IQ to her game.

This is a Class of 2029 setter who definitely has some promise and should be on the radar as her career progresses. Tess immel is a freshman at Winneconne High School and saw some time on the varsity court this past fall. She has all the tools that makes for a solid setter with length, athleticism, and a savvy at the net and the backrow. She has the ability to attack offensively as well. She was a key piece to her [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 15 Grey squad's gold bracket appearance on Sunday. Well done.

[player_tooltip player_id='746034' first='Amy' last='Stefferud'] has caught the eye of multiple Prep Dig scouts in 2026 and we aren't even done with January. When an offense is able to click, there is a lot of work being done by the libero who can put up a clean first contact, take control in serve receive, and bring calm to the chaos. Stefferud does this for [program_tooltip program_id='431905' first='Coulee' last='Region Power'] 15s who finished second in the 15 Club Division. So impressive, she plays with a poise and maturity that is well beyond her years. Oh, and shes a 2030.

In order for teams to beat Ida Bay, they had to stop Isabel Schoeneman. Schoeneman is a six rotation outside hitter who isn't afraid to take a big swing and create chaos for her opponents. She is fast and springy along with being explosive. She is a 2029 outside hitter who preps at Sturgeon Bay High School playing up on a 16s team. This will be a team to watch that can generate a lot of momentum this fall up in Door County.
