Resolution Tournament First Look: 6 Key 17/18 Leaders to Know

The Resolution tournament is only a few days away, and it is going to be an absolute blast. There will be talent packing the gym from across the state. Here is a first look at some of the leaders we will see take the floor in the 17/18s Open and Club divisions.    Jamie is an explosive pin who is committed to UW-Oshkosh. She flies high and swings big on every play. Her fearlessness and grit are tough to match. But, it isn't just her offense that makes her a high-level athlete; she is a talented passer and has great court awareness as well. Jamie is incredibly athletic and dynamic across the board.     Grace is a high-flying pin who does what it takes to win. She is a fierce competitor, as gritty as they come. Her 6-rotation talent is so fun to watch. She is not afraid to run down even the toughest balls or get up at the net and joust. Grace will battle from the first point to the last and have a huge impact on every match.     Rachel is a libero who exploded onto my radar at a Showcase in 2025, and I cannot wait to see what she does on the club court. She is quick with great ball control and next-level leadership and communication. Rachel's combination of physical skill and intangibles makes her a very talented libero who can battle for any ball.     Nora's range on offense is wild. Ask her to earn a point, and she can do it. In system, out of system, on the net, off the net, it does not matter, she will be there and find a way to earn the point. She is smart and powerful, with pinpoint precision. She is a tough hitter to defend because she is hard to read and has an explosive approach. She is also lethal in pass to attack situations.     Emma is the type of player who has put in the work to become the talented player she is. She has great vertical, clean hands, and is an awesome defender to boot. Emma's got a level of court awareness that shows she is a student of the game - she anticipates and reacts to the game with no hesitation. She plays to win and knows what her hitters need and where they will be.     Vivie has been a player on our radar for several years. She plays with fire and energy on the court. Her relentless mindset and competitive nature have been a key part of her game since the first time I saw her play. Vivie has a powerhouse swing, and when she unloads on the ball, it can change the momentum of a set. She is also a disciplined defender and excels in serve receive.
