Nora’s range on offense is wild. Ask her to earn a point, and she can do it. In system, out of system, on the net, off the net, it does not matter, she will be there and find a way to earn the point. She is smart and powerful, with pinpoint precision. She is a tough hitter to defend because she is hard to read and has an explosive approach. She is also lethal in pass to attack situations.

South Shore Slam out of the Sheboygan/Manitowoc area will be heading to the Prep Dig Resolution where they will have a national team competing at the 16s level.  One athlete to take a look at is Nora Halverson Nora Halverson Nora Halverson 5'7" | OH/RS/RS State WI who just finished her sophomore season for Sheboygan Falls where they were 24-15 and 6-1 in their conference.  She is a high flyer on the outside who can score in a variety of ways and will be picking up plenty of momentum this club season where Falls should have a really strong team returning in 2025.

I really like the way Halverson moves to the ball. She is solid in serve receive and smart as an attacker. Halverson does not shy away from using the blocker’s hands when she is attacking.

I was able to see South Shore Slam at the Champions Cup a few times and was impressed by their athleticism as a team. Halverson was really active on the pin.  She is an outside hitter who can attack from anywhere on the court and has no fear when it comes to swinging big.  One of her setters who will be sure to give her some great opportunities is Mykenna Weigert who was a key piece to their success at the Prep Dig Champions Cup.
