It has been a wild couple days with the weather here in Oklahoma. Our scouts are stuck at home like many of you are. We live and breathe volleyball, sooo what better to do than write an articles on this snow day? Lets take a look at six players who are stars here in Oklahoma.

[player_tooltip player_id='750957' first='Sadie' last='Arnold']- Middle Blocker for OK Peak 17-1 and Westmoore. Sadie has been a 1s type player for a while and her skill set shows that. Over the past 365 days, she is really started to come in to her own. Her IQ and athleticism are on the rise, and those things will help her tremendously. She already has impeccable timing with her setters and great control when she is attacking. Look for her to have an awesome senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='394209' first='Amelia' last='Mullen']- Setter for [program_tooltip program_id='432025' first='OK' last='Charge'] 17UA and Casady. Amelia is an absolute monster and is committed to play at Duke. She's a very athletic left-handed setter. She attacks the ball when she is in the front row very well. This puts a lot of pressure on defenses to respect her as a scoring threat. We got her moving up in our rankings within the next update.

[player_tooltip player_id='750474' first='Mackenzie' last='Manning']- Setter for Peak 17-1 and Piedmont. Mac has really been putting in the work. She had an awesome school season where she was a big part of the Wildcats punching their ticket to state. Her ascension in club has her now as a setter on one of the best teams in the state, which is evidence of the work she's been putting in. She does a solid job of setting against the flow and putting up consistent balls to all of her hitters. Excited to see what colleges will be pursuing her.

[player_tooltip player_id='740945' first='McKayla' last='Mason']- Outisde for Peak 16-2 and OKC Storm. McKayla plays for Peak 16-2 who just came off a 9th play finish at the prestigious Kansas City MLK tournament. OKC Storm has been producing top talent in the OKC area and it looks like she is on that list. She is a star that has plenty of brightness still to shine.

[player_tooltip player_id='752828' first='Maci' last='McClure']- Outside for [program_tooltip program_id='432025' first='OK' last='Charge'] 17 National Tulsa and Bixby. Maci has made the move from the middle to the outside position. She has really flourished on the pin. Her ability to pass in serve receive and dig in transition are now on display. She has some really solid power in her arm swing. When you add that to her ability to place the ball all over the court, that's a bad mix for opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='735278' first='Quinn' last='Schaffler']- Outside for Virago 16 Elite and Bishop Kelley. Quinn had an awesome club season last year and she's picked up right where she's left off. She is a solid source for point production. She is always driving to learn from her mistakes and become a better player. She's also a very coachable individual and that will help spur her growth long-term.

Stay warm and safe everyone!
