Earlier this morning, I published a film review of five athletes from the Kansas Class of 2029.

I decided before watching a John Wayne or Clint Eastwood Western to wrap up my day that I would watch some film of ranked Western Kansas prospects who have not been featured lately.

After watching tape on these five, I either need to plan a week-long trip to Western Kansas next fall or Prep Dig needs to find a Western Kansas scout.

Put on your Stetson and Tecovas, and watch out for tumbleweeds, jackrabbits, and longhorns while you are reading this report.

I also think I am in love with this new Prep Dig Kansas graphic!

[player_tooltip player_id='753179' first='Brooklyn' last='Stein'], 6'1”, MB, Ingalls, ‘29

Ingalls grows its middles as big as saguaros. Stein is 6-foot-1 and the younger sister of [player_tooltip player_id='808072' first='Olivia' last='Stein'], who is committed to Wichita State University. Her video package is small right now, but even in just two plays against Rolla, I can see the huge upside in her game. She is strong, quick, and has a smooth approach. Stein is ranked No. 73 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='882830' first='Ellie' last='Konrade'], 5'8”, OH, Garden City, ‘29

Konrade finished third on the Buffaloes' roster in kills with 149 in 83 sets played. She has Je'Von Evans' bounciness in her game. I watched some of her clips against Kapaun Mt. Carmel and literally said “WOW” out loud. She hits the ball hard and has the strength to power through blockers. She also registered 89 digs and 43 aces. She can curdle the opposition's cream. She is ranked No. 79 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='755017' first='Kinlie' last='Hill'], 5'6”, OH/DS, Ulysses, ‘29

So first off, I love Hill's organization. I watched her “kill film” against Holcomb and her “digs film” against Dodge City. College coaches will love watching this kid's HUDL highlights. She plays a smart game, and I can see that she has a natural feel for it. I have not seen her play in person, but just by watching film, I notice her competitive edge, and she might as well be wearing a “Future Coach” button on her jersey. This Tiger has massive claws. Hill is ranked No. 95 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='752455' first='Emry' last='Myers'], 5'5, S/RS, Pratt, ‘29

Myers had a nice freshman season for the Greenbacks. She dished out 323 assists and recorded 176 digs in 82 sets played. Her HUDL page is a treasure trove of well-organized highlights. The only issue is that she sets, but her page does not have any setting highlights. She has natural athletic skills and strong legs. I like the pace at which she plays, and she plays well under duress. She is ranked No. 103 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='752454' first='Laykn' last='McAllister'], 5'9, MB, Pratt, ‘29

McAllister finished her freshman season with 108 kills and 55 blocks. I watched her highlights against Rose Hill and Nickerson. She is all arms and legs. She can leap like a jumping bean. She transitions well from receiver to attacker. She is ranked No. 113 overall.

Earlier this morning, I published a film review of five athletes from the Kansas Class of 2029.
