2026 Legacy Club Profile: 15-2 ADIDAS

Buchanan ran the DeWitt offense this fall as a freshman and that was a great opportunity for her to make strides in her play and leadership. She looks very comfortable in a lead role and should continue to make big strides in her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Versatile Outsides</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Legacy 15-2 ADIDAS has a great set of outside talents that they can move around and be flexible with the roster with. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888385' first='Anna' last='Lock'] </strong>and <strong>Ayla Phelps </strong>have shown they can finish strong from the left or the right. They have a lot of wingspan to work with, but are agile and quick in their approach at the net. <strong>Gabriella Parrish</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='885467' first='Adeline' last='Peterson']</strong> are two outside options that also move really smoothly around the floor and can deliver the hammer when needed. A 2030 prospect, <strong>Waverly Diegel</strong> is another well-rounded option that can step into a DS role when needed because she's got the skills to excel anywhere. All of these options give Buchanan plenty of buttons to push when running the offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Active Middles</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Legacy 15-2 ADIDAS also looks talented in the middle with six-footers in <strong>Ellasyn Teatsorth</strong> and <strong>Raina Basmaji</strong>. Between the two, they really fill out the offense nicely, as they work hard to improve on their footwork and attack angles. They both can come through with a momentum-building kill, but also remain aggressive and relentless in their blocking efforts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Defensive Balance</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While the attack looks great for Legacy, the defense will allow the unit to keep running smoothly. <strong>Brogan Miller </strong>and <strong>Delaney Efthemiou </strong>are the primary defenders for this roster. Both got some good varsity action in the fall to face the best hitters in the state and prep them for this club season. Each shows good instincts and an eagerness to learn from any mistakes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Expectations</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Legacy has to feel pretty good about where 15-2 ADIDAS is right now. The roster is full of potential and they have seen that potential come out in two highly competitive events, The Nike Classic and Triple Crown. At Triple Crown, this team fought through some three-set wins. Opponents that beat them were able to put together some runs that Legacy will have to work to stop in future events, but as this group keeps gelling, it should lead them to be able to make some big runs of their own against tougher competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
