2029 Liberos Running the Defense

<p>This group of freshman liberos all have the make-up, skills, and toughness to run their team's back row defense. The class of 2029 is shaping up to be an excellent batch of defenders, and these five will push one another as their teams battle it out. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Noble has a terrific combination of defensive skills; she plays relaxed and is always ready to make a play when the ball finds her. The Gig Harbor defender is an impressive, fearless setter from all over the court. Noble will reverse the flow on the dead run and can fling a set from the deep corner of the court accurately to the pin. </p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Allen is a 2029 prospect from Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley. Allen is a gritty defender with excellent hands that enhance her passing, defense, and ability to set when she handles second contact. She is playing for CPA 15 Benson and is a willing and vocal leader on the floor. Allen and her squad will be in action at two qualifiers in March- Red Rock Rave #1 and the Pacific Northwest Qualifier. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Battaglia is always hard on the court for her SIVA 16 Joe team. She stays low to the ground and is always in balance; she can push forward or quickly turn and run down a deflection or throw to the corner. Stone maintains excellent defensive posture; she is low and ready to make an athletic move to dig out a big swing or a crafty tip. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">The Emerald Ridge class of 2029 prospect is playing with PSVBA 16 Legacy. Orozco has a calm flow to her game; she is rarely out of position and reads the opposing offense effectively. She can close quickly on a tip or roll and has the straight speed to make a play on a ball that should drop for a point.
