2029 Outsides Rushing Towards March

These outsides are rolling as we near March- the six players featured here are from across the state, and all have put a stamp on the early part of the club season with their teams. While a few of the prospects play multiple positions, a middle here, a setter there, and a right side or two at times, we like their ability to swing from the outside!    Baty can compete on the outside against taller blockers; she has an outstanding vertical and works around or off the block with excellent vision. The Cashmere freshman can hammer it to the angle or swing line. She is doing an excellent job mixing up her swings and keeping defenses guessing. Cashmere will be tough to handle again next season, and Baty is going to be a problem for teams in the South Central Athletic Conference.      [player_tooltip player_id='938257' first='Ceci' last='Waldorf'] is playing up with SIVBC 16 Tornado; she is a freshman from Lakeside with excellent length and a whippy arm swing. She projects as 6 feet or over and a six-rotation player. Lakeside had her in the middle back, and her defensive play has been solid for Sudden Impact. Waldorf can bring the heat from either pin- she is a prospect to watch as she develops.     The 5'9" outside from Mead is an excellent two-way player; she can score on the outside and plays all out defensively. Shane is a steady, consistent passer in serve receive, and she can deliver a highlight dig off a huge swing or off-speed shot as a defender. Her Club South 15 Black team competes hard, and Shane plays with grit and positive energy on the court.     Pezzoli has been roaming the middle for Dakine, but her skill set also projects to the pin. Her setters find her for swings on the outside, and her steady hands and ball control show up defensively on a consistent basis. Pezzoli is terrific at anticipating and pressing over with her block, and she has a sharp snap on her swing on any route she runs. Dakine 15 National Navy is off to an excellent start, and Pezzoli is a big contributor.     Hastings is a versatile player with good athleticism; the Seton Catholic standout can play either pin and also sets. Her size, quick arm, and ability to score will likely always make her a factor on the pin. We also liked her setting at the Triple Crown Colorado Challenge; she has the feet to run down the second ball and can use her hands or platform to deliver a hittable set.     The Sehome outside showed a solid all-around game at the 2/22 Power League. Noskoff Sanchez has a live arm and likes to rip at the deep corner, but she also showed a smooth roll shot to the angle and the ability to make adjustments on challenging sets. Her Apex NW 15 Summit squad finds her on the pin in out-of-system situations, and she reliably finds the court to keep her team in the rally.
