It's been a while since we have tapped into our Prospect Roulette, but now feels like a great time for a refresher.

Here's how it works. We take the 231 prospects in our Class of 2027 and randomize the numbers. Whatever 10 numbers get landed on, we provide a little info on that player. Let's get things started.

84. [player_tooltip player_id='728696' first='Emiya' last='Franklin'], OH/MB Redford Thurston/Michigan Elite

Franklin is a multi-sport talent that shows good explosiveness off the floor and can make a good swing out of an out-of-system ball. She's light on her feet and spreads the ball out well across the floor to keep defenders guessing.

186. [player_tooltip player_id='787011' first='Isabella' last='Hernalsteen'], MB/RS TC Central/Northshore

Hernalsteen shows great footwork to be able to make a variety of shots for her teams. She is aggressive toward the net, but can adjust her arm angles to make her attacks potent at a highly consistent rate. As she continues to sharpen her game, she will become a real handful for opponents.

175. [player_tooltip player_id='534728' first='Ashlyn' last='Charder'], OH Milford/L2

Charder is a player that was coming off a great finish to the prep season where her game found another gear. Her finishing rate improved and she racked up the kills. That should help propel her to a strong club season, as her confidence should be high.

58. [player_tooltip player_id='490033' first='Christina' last='Rosenow'], MB Romeo/Michigan Elite

The 6-foot Rosenow is a real force at the net. She's got very good timing on her blocks and attacks, which allows her to be a real impact in both phases of the game. Rosenow sees the floor well and can find the openings on the floor.

69. [player_tooltip player_id='611100' first='Waverly' last='Hagen'], MB Ubly/Mavericks

Hagen had a great 2025 season, as she finished as one of the top contenders for D4 MVP. At 6'1” Hagen is an intimidating presence for opposing hitters, but she uses her athleticism to make herself even bigger and be a real blocking force. Hagen also can come down hard over the ball for some devastating finishes.

23. [player_tooltip player_id='490374' first='Elizabeth' last='Risdon'], OH Zeeland East/FaR Out

An Ohio University commit, Risdon is tough to slow down once she gets rolling. Risdon has a great approach to the net and isn't afraid to attack the boundary lines. She can also make as big of an impact with her defensive play as she does with her offense.

222. [player_tooltip player_id='523265' first='Taybor' last='Soper'], OH/RS Kearsley/Arsenal

Soper makes a lot of smart plays and doesn't try to be aggressive when it isn't necessary. She's got a good foundation of skills in all phases of the game, as her offense, defense, and serve can be impactful. She just needs to keep getting reps against high-level competition to raise her play.

118. [player_tooltip player_id='456251' first='Alexa' last='Turner'], S/RS SMCC/Athlete HQ

Turner is a great hustle player that has put a lot of work into bettering her game. She was a big impact player for SMCC this fall and continues to refine her setting ability while still being able to deliver a high-impact kill.

134. [player_tooltip player_id='699957' first='Brynn' last='Swetz'], MB/RS Vicksburg/Dead Frog

Swetz proved she can emerge as a real team leader this fall, as she was able to be among the team leaders in kills, blocks, and aces. Swetz moves smoothly around the net and her slide attacks look really sharp. She is definitely a player to keep an eye on over the next year.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='442987' first='Kate' last='Kalczynski'], OH Mercy/Legacy

Regarded as one of the top 2027 prospects in the country, Kalczynski keeps proving that her skillset has no ceiling. The Ohio State commit just keeps getting more dynamic with her attacks, while raising her defensive play to a nearly elite level as well.
