Houston Power League – 15 Club Division Hard-Working Liberos

Some excellent volleyball was played, and we're now highlighting the top performers in each position. Her quickness on defense was very impressive, as she wasted no time getting to the ball and showed great ball control to keep it up, be it when dealing with hard-driven swings or tips. The libero was very comfortable and confident in serve-receive, handling efficiently most of the serves that went her way. She was one of the bright spots in the team, getting the job done in the back row with good consistency. Madden led the team's passing efforts and managed to get them in system more often than not. A defensive specialist, she split the court with the team's libero in serve-receive and was very consistent with her passing. Manuel played defense in the middle back position and was very active and efficient, standing out with her positioning and ball control to dig balls and generate transition plays for her team. She was very reliable in serve-receive, covering a large area of the court and being very accurate with her passing. The libero also showed well on defense, using her great ball control to deal with hard-driven swings that went into her zone.
