We have been watching the 2027 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up in the rankings due to their individual performances.

When you talk about movement in the 2027 class, few players have made a more noticeable climb on the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings than [player_tooltip player_id='534310' first='Natalie' last='Kitts']. The 6'4” middle blocker from Tompkins High School has officially risen to No. 9 overall in the 2027 class, and the jump is more than justified. Over the past year, we have seen significant growth in her game. Her physical tools have always been impressive, but what separates her now is how efficiently and consistently she applies them. At 6'4”, many would assume lateral movement could be a challenge. Instead, Kitts is remarkably quick moving along the net. She covers ground from pin to pin with ease and does an outstanding job sealing blocks and taking away angles. Offensively, she is elite. Her ability to terminate against size and athleticism stands out every time she steps on the floor. What truly elevates her is how aggressively she drives her feet toward the setter to establish position on quick sets. She does not drift. She attacks the ball at its highest point and places constant pressure on opposing middles. That footwork and timing make her incredibly difficult to defend. Defensively, she is a true game changer. Her length and timing allow her to alter swings even when she does not record the block. She reads the setter well and closes quickly, turning potential scoring opportunities into hesitation plays for opponents. College programs have clearly taken notice. Kitts recently announced her commitment to Baylor University, a testament to both her development and long term upside. Her rise to No. 9 overall in Texas is a reflection of consistent improvement, high level production, and impact on both sides of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='534310' first='Natalie' last='Kitts'] has positioned herself among the very best in the 2027 class, and her trajectory suggests she is far from finished climbing.

The climb continues for [player_tooltip player_id='809408' first='Ansley' last='Shafer']. The 5'4" libero from Keller High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball has moved up the rankings and now sits as the No. 13 overall player in the 2027 class on the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings list. Her steady rise reflects both her impact on the court and the consistency she brings every time she steps into the back row. Shafer, who has verbally committed to Loyola Marymount University, is the definition of a back row floor general. She anchors one of the top club teams in the country and does so with confidence, command, and an advanced understanding of the game. In serve receive, she is as reliable as they come. Opposing coaches are wise to game plan around her because serving into her zone almost guarantees a clean three pass delivered right on target. Her platform control, body positioning, and calm demeanor under pressure separate her from the pack. Defensively, she is a problem solver. Whether it is a heavy swing, a late deflection, or a deceptive off speed shot, Shafer finds a way to keep the ball alive. Her emergency hand digs and reactionary plays showcase elite fast twitch ability and body control. She reads attackers well and anticipates angles before contact is even made. Her ranking jump is not just about skill. It is about command, leadership, and the trust her teammates have in her to handle every first contact situation. Shafer continues to prove that elite back row play can completely change the trajectory of a match, and her upward movement in the 2027 class is well earned.

Power is the first word that comes to mind when evaluating [player_tooltip player_id='534325' first='Camille' last='Presley']. The 6'2” middle blocker from Austin High School who competes for Austin [program_tooltip program_id='431229' first='Performance' last='Volleyball'] Club has risen to No. 11 overall in the 2027 class in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. Her climb reflects the consistent dominance she has shown over the past season. Presley possesses rare, natural power throughout her entire frame. She is quite literally a kill waiting to happen. When featured early in a match as a primary offensive option, she forces defenses to collapse inside, which opens up clean splits and one on one situations for the outside pins. That kind of gravity in the middle of the net changes how opponents must scheme defensively. What stands out technically is her discipline in transition. She does not overrun her route to the ball. By keeping the set in front of her, she maximizes her explosion and drives through contact with authority. Her attacks are heavy and decisive, often igniting the crowd with thunderous finishes. She is comfortable running the full route tree out of the middle, whether in front of the setter or on tempo variations designed to stretch the block. Defensively, she is equally impactful. Presley is a shutdown presence at the net with the size, timing, and hand positioning to take away primary scoring lanes. Please help us congratulate her on moving up in our prestigious State Ranking List.
