Texas 2027 State Ranking New Additions Vol 3

The State Rankings update is here!!! We have added 21 new players in this update. This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country. We have been watching the 2027 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.    Olivia debuts at No. 76 overall in the 2027 class in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a five foot nine setter who plays at St. Johns High School and competes for [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Volleyball Club. Miss Landahl is equipped with exceptionally clean hands that consistently deliver the rock to all of her hitters in rhythm. She truly understands how to run an offense and manage tempo throughout a match. What stands out most on film is her ability to push the ball against the flow of the pass, creating one on one attacking situations for her pins. That skill alone separates advanced setters from average ones. Despite not having imposing size, she generates impressive power through her hands and core to extend the ball all the way to the antennas. Her consistency in location is another defining trait. Hitters are routinely placed in optimal positions to succeed because she lives in the bullseye with her ball placement. She demonstrates a high volleyball IQ by moving the ball around in tough situations and recognizing favorable matchups. There is a calm command in how she orchestrates the offense, almost like having an additional coach on the floor. Her technique and form are impeccable, which is a direct reflection of the time and repetition she has invested into mastering her craft. Rylin is currently ranked as the No. 81 overall player in the 2027 class in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a five foot eleven right side who plays at The Oakridge School and competes for MadFrog Volleyball Club. She has committed to continue her volleyball career at Tarleton State University. Miss Otto is an explosive attacker who understands how to generate momentum in her approach with purpose. She drives her legs aggressively into the floor, converting that force into vertical lift and powerful contact at the point of attack. Her ability to elevate and swing heavy makes her a legitimate scoring threat from either pin. Whether attacking from the right side or rotating through the left, she delivers with authority and confidence. Coaches value that kind of versatility because it expands offensive options without sacrificing production. What also separates Ry is her impact beyond scoring. She is a gifted serve receive passer who can take away half the court in a two person formation. Her platform is stable, and she reads servers well, allowing her team to stay in system consistently. That kind of reliability is invaluable at the next level. She is more than just a point scorer, she is a complete player who influences the match in multiple phases of the game. With her physical tools and competitive mindset, she has the potential to make an immediate impact when she steps onto the Tarleton State campus. Miss Bao is currently ranked No. 83 overall in the 2027 class in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a five foot five libero who plays at Wylie High School and competes for MadFrog Volleyball Club. Jolene is the definition of disciplined ball control. One of the first technical details that stands out is how wide and stable her base remains while passing and digging. That strong foundation stabilizes her balance and allows her to absorb pace without drifting or overcorrecting. She does an excellent job tracking the attacker's arm swing, which enables her to initiate movement in the correct direction before contact is even made. That early read is critical at higher levels of play. Her platform is quiet and controlled at contact, giving her setter a predictable ball that can be read cleanly and delivered in rhythm. You rarely see her heels hit the floor, which keeps her quick and reactive as she transitions between defensive responsibilities and hitter coverage. She also incorporates her hands effectively when needed, expanding her defensive range and giving her more tools to keep the ball off the floor. That versatility makes her extremely valuable in chaotic rally situations. Everything about her game points to reliability. She brings consistency, awareness, and technical discipline to the back row. She is the type of libero who allows an offense to operate smoothly because she delivers quality first contacts time and time again.
