The Class of 2028 is loaded with hitting talent that looks like it could make a run at reaching the next level by the time they graduate.

Here's a look at some of the outsides that haven't gotten as much pub, but you should keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='553582' first='Kalina' last='Fast'], OH/S Waverly/FaR Out

Fast is a combo player that can really play anywhere on the court and make an impact. She reacts well to the ball and uses her instincts to make some tough plays. Her footwork is at a good level for her offensive and defensive abilities right now. As she keeps getting more reps at higher paces, her game will keep getting stronger.

[player_tooltip player_id='916037' first='Madie' last='Folkema'], OH Western Michigan Christian

A smooth delivery with a lot of athleticism, Folkema is a player that can get on a hot streak and not slow down. She's capable of putting the ball away from multiple angles, and also has a back-row attack that will challenge defenders. Folkema seems very comfortable with a high workload.

[player_tooltip player_id='644262' first='Amaya' last='Frias'], OH/DS Ionia/FaR Out

Frias was a big boost for Ionia this fall, as her ability to keep the ball off the floor and defense and put the ball away on offense made the Bulldogs one of the top teams in their division. Frias mixes up her shots speeds well and her ability to read the floor is improving by the month.

[player_tooltip player_id='752615' first='Eliana' last='Hulst'] OH/RS West Ottawa/MVA

Hulst is definitely a prospect that colleges should be keeping their eye on. She's 6'2” and can play anywhere along the net. She's light on her feet with a big wingspan, which makes her capable of taking over a match with her attacks or her blocking. She's improving on her instincts and court IQ to find new ways to score, as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='587007' first='Julia' last='Kavaliauskas'], OH/RS South Lyon/Legacy

Kavaliauskas has a smooth approach to the net. She makes herself long and generates good forward momentum to power through the ball with a lot of pop. She's fine-tuning her attack to add new aspects to her game while also putting in the work on defense to be a complete player.

[player_tooltip player_id='582914' first='Ellie' last='Kileen'] MB/RS GRCC/MVA

Kileen does a really nice job of getting over the top of the ball to attack it in ways defenders can't defend. The 6-footer times out her attacks well and has a good spring off the floor. Her blocking is getting better and better, which should help elevate her among the middles in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='890647' first='Madi' last='Lund'], MB Plymouth Christian/Michigan Elite

Lund doesn't have the length of some of her peers, but she does a nice job of staying within herself and making smart plays to beat a defense. Her slide attacks show good progress, and she's also able to put good velocity on her attacks where the sets aren't where they need to be. Lund has plenty of potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='587001' first='Brenna' last='Mcmaster'] OH/RS Trenton/Michigan Elite

The 6-footer from Trenton is able to use an upright swing to play above the blockers, but she isn't afraid to mix in some offspeed swings either. There's room for her to grow in terms of intensity and aggression, but that should come as she gets more swings in the years ahead.
