Another high-stakes Championship Sunday has arrived.

The Great Plains Region has had a busy, productive mid-March qualifier slate. Last weekend's gauntlet produced three additions to our Nebraska Bid Tracker. Seven days later, we're pivoting to the next wave of Gold contenders at qualifiers across the country.

Nebraska is still in the hunt in several divisions in Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia. Let's give you the quick rundown of who's vying for bids in this globetrotting tour.

Back to the Bell

[program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] is at it again.

Last week brought the rise of [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Synergy at the Northeast Qualifier. The team's Open triumph may have drawn the blueprint for 17 Black to reciprocate in the 17 USA division.

[program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Black is the lone Great Plains Region representative in Philadelphia this weekend, but we're prioritizing quality over quantity. This stacked squad earned a spot in the division's Round of 16 after a perfect run through pool play. 17 Black's 6-0 start includes five sweeps, most of which came with large margins of victory.

We identified this crew as one to watch this weekend, and 17 Black has delivered. An early-morning bout with Houston Stellar is on deck.

Up North

Next up: Northern Lights.

The third iteration of this year's Northern Lights Qualifier brings every 15s division to the fold, plus a pair of 16s divisions. These age groups are giving us a lot to discuss.

16 Liberty is a perfect starting spot. The opening round of the Gold bracket features a pair of Great Plains bid hopefuls: Nebraska Elite 16 Flames and [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Black.

Nebraska Elite 16 Flames has been a model of resilience in Minneapolis, particularly in Saturday's second-round action. The team bounced back from a loss to open Round 2, earning wins over SWMNVB and 573 Juniors to advance. 16 Flames' journey is a testament to "winning at the right time" being the key to qualifier success.

Meanwhile, [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Black hopes to back up what its 16 Elite counterpart accomplished last week. If you're looking for dominant outings, look no further than 16 Black's six consecutive sweeps to roll through pool play. This squad has looked untouchable so far, boosting optimism that VCN can snag yet another bid in the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Perhaps Great Plains success comes in pairs at NLQ. Our next division of interest is 16 American Blue, where Premier Nebraska 16 Silver and Club Legacy 16 Alpha are both in the Sunday running.

Like VCN 16 Black, Club Legacy 16 Alpha has been nearly infallible after two days of NLQ play. We'd expect nothing less from last year's Show Me Qualifier champs. 16 Alpha hopes to lock up its GJNC berth slightly earlier this year, but the means would be the same. This team is thriving.

Premier Nebraska 16 Silver embraced the grind en route to its bracket appearance. This is another instance of a team that started Round 2 with a loss but rebounded to win its pool in a triple tiebreaker scenario. USAV qualifiers always deliver the drama, and 16 Silver is battle-tested.

We wouldn't see a potential clash between these two until the championship round, but don't rule it out.

The best chance for a Great Plains bracket collision can be found in the 15 USA race.

[program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 15 Elite is in the hunt and has a first-round bye to 15 USA's quarterfinals. Three-set slugfests have been the story of 15 Elite's Minneapolis stay. Five of VCN's six pool matchups went the distance, and 15 Elite churned out a 5-1 record through all the adversity. How about those extra reps?

That first-round bye is important, as we have another Nebraska team playing for the right to face 15 Elite. Premier Nebraska 15 Black earned its way in after securing second place in its Saturday round robin. The team's loss to FEVA was its lone blemish in an otherwise impressive run through two rounds of pool play. Raise the stakes for a single-elimination grind.

And we're just getting started with the 15s. Our next stop is 15 Liberty, where the next wave of Club Legacy stars has come to play.

Yet again, this is an example of a team we tabbed in our weekend preview. Club Legacy 15 Alpha is in the Gold bracket after a 5-1 mark in 15 Liberty pool play. It's an extension of the incredible form we saw from this group in early-season regional tournaments.

And how about one more duo? The 15 American Blue division brings Nebraska Elite 15 Echo and [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 15 Blue to the fold, adding to the exceptional Minneapolis success for both of these clubs.

The Gold Standard

We alluded to the fact that MEQ's Indianapolis weekend became a new go-to venue for Premier Nebraska. And the standard bearer from this contingent can be found in 16 Open.

Premier Nebraska 16 Gold is on the cusp of an Open breakthrough after reaching the final Gold pools at MEQ. Last year's 15 USA title triumph at GJNC may have been the launching point for the next Open campaign.

This Championship Sunday ascent came through a 6-0 pool record. Tiebreaker wins over KC Power, Apex, and Blue Steel VBC were particularly thrilling, and 16 Gold channeled its postseason experience for each victory.

16 Gold is paired with TAV Houston and PineappleHP for the final round. All eyes are on this group.

Another high-stakes Championship Sunday has arrived.
