There is plenty of depth for Spiketown at the 16s level where three of their teams from that age group have found winning ways consistently all season. The Spiketown 16.1 squad currently has a 25-2 record on the season with tournament titles from the Arctic Blast AAU Super Regional held in Chicago as well as the Nike Presidents Day Cup in Milwaukee. Spiketown 16.2 where they sit at 15-2 with tournament titles at the Prep Dig Resolution and the Juniors Presidents Day Tournament.

The Spiketown 16.3 squad has been on a tear all of 2026. They started the year with the Prep Dig Resolution 16 Club title, going 6-0 on the weekend and would look to follow that up with another Prep Dig Tournament win at the Champions Cup.

Saturday's slate at the Champions Cup was a 3-0 mark with wins over [program_tooltip program_id='428659' first='Wisconsin' last='Blaze'] 16 Red, 1W 16 Silver, and [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 16 Adidas. Championship Sunday they would be faced with an opening round battle with Keweenaw 16 VBC out of Upper Michigan, winning a three set thriller 25-15, 23-25, 15-10. Their semifinal and finals would be back to back matches against Madtown squads. They defeated Madtown 161 Select 26-24, 25-23 and in the finals against Madtown 162 Select 25-23, 25-19.

On the outsides scoring plenty of points were [player_tooltip player_id='743023' first='Kayana' last='Turner'], an Oshkosh West sophomore who has made a name for herself this club season. Another lethal scoring option was [player_tooltip player_id='526441' first='Lila' last='Tesch']. The sophomore from Kimberly is an explosive jumper, she knows how to contact high as well as mix up her shots to score points. The “X-Factor” out of the middle who provides a big block and has a knack for scoring points is [player_tooltip player_id='745548' first='Briana' last='Rusch']. She has plenty of length and athleticism where she gives a lot of problems for the other side of the net.

Spiketown 17.2 was a team on the radar who had the makings of a big weekend, but when it came to the key points in bracket play they came up big in the clutch.

Sunday's bracket play was a full late that would take four wins to take the title. They started the day with a win over I AM 17 White in two sets, followed by a three set thriller over [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 17 Blue, a two set sweep over [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 17 Black, before coming up just short in the championship to Hartford 18-1 by identical set scores of 25-22.

There is a scrappiness to this team where they find a way to prolong rallies and score points. At the libero position is [player_tooltip player_id='503373' first='Olivia' last='Xiong'] who showed she can handle a high volume in serve receive and positions herself extremely well to take pace off a hard swing, getting her side in system. The second contact comes from Leah Van Hogen. The junior from Little Chute High School gets to everything, she finds a way to run the tempo to the middle when its there or a one on one opportunity for her pins. A lethal scoring outside hitter for 17.2 is [player_tooltip player_id='758958' first='McKenna' last='Mileski']. She is a high flyer who isn't afraid to rip, she was able to put points on the board in multiple ways.
