Miss Castillo is a 5'7” Class of 2029 setter from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy High School who also competes for [program_tooltip program_id='429836' first='Tribe' last='Volleyball Club'], and she does not play like your average freshman. Throughout the showcase she displayed the poise and command of a seasoned varsity veteran capable of running an offense in any environment. Her technical skills were sharp and repeatable, but what truly elevated her performance was the profound impact she had on teammates through her leadership and personality. She communicated constantly, encouraged others, and maintained a positive presence even during moments of adversity. College coaches value setters they can trust with the keys to the offense, and Ava showed the kind of composure that earns that trust. She uses her compact frame extremely well, consistently pushing the ball cleanly to the pins from a variety of court positions without losing tempo. Her quick footwork allows her to arrive balanced and create multiple offensive options, and her hands are clean with impeccable form that clearly reflects serious time invested in training. Please join us in congratulating Ava on earning a Top Performer Award at the Sunshine Classic Showcase.

Ali Serbones is a 2030 six foot tall left handed setter and right side from Cornerstone Christian High School who also competes for Alamo Volleyball Club out of San Antonio, Texas, and our readers in Texas know her name well because we have highlighted her multiple times after previous showcases. The fact that she has earned Top Performer recognition at every event she has attended with us speaks volumes, especially considering different coaches have independently nominated her each time. That kind of consistency is no accident. She is the real deal, and her blend of size, skill, and athleticism will have college coaches extremely intrigued as they evaluate long term prospects. A six foot left handed setter is a rare profile, and that uniqueness alone creates matchup problems for opponents. What truly separates her, however, is her competitiveness and physical strength at the net, where she is more than willing to battle opposing hitters. Her ability to block and attack effectively keeps her on the floor, reduces the need for substitutions, and allows her team to maintain offensive continuity as she sets all the way around. Please join us in congratulating Ali on earning another Top Performer Award at the Sunshine Classic Showcase.

Amelia is a five foot nine Class of 2027 setter from Venice High School who competes for Global Sports Institute Volleyball Club, and she generated an overwhelming amount of praise from our coaching staff throughout the showcase. The number of coaches who approached us to nominate her performance speaks volumes about the impression she made. She looked incredibly polished at the position, operating with balance, rhythm, and precision well beyond her years. Her set location was consistently pinpoint across multiple tempos, allowing hitters to stay in system and attack aggressively. Beyond her offensive command, she proved to be a reliable defender out of right back, extending rallies and making it difficult for opponents to score cleanly. Having a setter who can defend at that level adds tremendous value and stability to a lineup. Her hands appeared like mirror images at contact and release, a clear sign of disciplined training and technical refinement. Court coaches also emphasized her coachability and relentless effort in every rotation. Please join us in congratulating Miss Anselmi on earning a Top Performer Award at the Sunshine Classic Showcase.
