Who's Who: LSC Week 1 - pt2

<p>We continue discussing who will be in attendance at week 1 of the 2026 Lonestar Classic. Keeping it in Houston, this round is highlighting some 15 USA reps at George R Brown CC. This is a big tournament, with big competition, chasing high stakes. 4 cities, 3 weekends and only so many bids to go around. She is a dynamic presence at the net, using her explosive vertical to rise above opposing blocks and creates opportunities. Her quick elevation also makes for a formidable defender, as she consistently slows down or stop opponents' swings. LaRee plays with intensity, delivering hard, aggressive hits while also showing great hustle and determination in scramble situations, often stepping in to keep chaotic plays alive for her team.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Amoha Ramanathan, a middle blocker for Flyers 15 USA, is a disciplined and reliable presence at the net. Defensively, she is highly attentive, consistently reading the play well and timing her blocks so she is rarely late, making her a strong barrier against opposing hitters. Offensively, Amoha combines intelligence with aggression, making smart decisions on her attacks while still swinging with purpose and confidence. Her ability to stay engaged on every play and execute with both awareness and intensity makes her a valuable asset in the middle.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">15 USA - LS</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Riylee Barrios, libero for Bombers VC 15-Aces, is a relentless defender who brings energy and hustle to every play. She reads the ball exceptionally well, allowing her to anticipate attacks and position herself effectively on the court. Her quick reactions and determination make her a key piece in her team's defense, as she consistently steps in to make plays happen and keep rallies alive. Riylee's effort and instinct in the back row give her team confidence and stability on serve receive and in defensive transitions.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='786517' first='Kelsi' last='Watson'], an outside hitter for Austin Skyline 15 Royal, is a composed and effective attacker who plays with both strength and purpose. She is intentional with every swing, delivering the ball with power while maintaining control and precision. Kelsi does an excellent job reading the court, allowing her to place her attacks strategically and exploit openings in the defense. Her ability to balance power with smart shot selection makes her a reliable and impactful option on the outside.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='890345' first='Jaela' last='Harris'], setter for SA Juniors 15 Adidas, is a driven and dependable playmaker who brings energy to every rally. She hustles to every ball, showing great effort and determination to keep plays alive, and consistently delivers a clean, controlled set—especially off her jump set. Jaela creates a smooth, reliable rhythm for her offense, giving her hitters confidence in every touch. Her ability to stay composed under pressure and consistently put the ball in the right spot makes her a trusted leader on the court.</p>
