Please welcome [player_tooltip player_id='580660' first='Carley' last='Ward'] to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 70 overall player in the 2028 grad class. [player_tooltip player_id='580660' first='Carley' last='Ward'] is a 5'8” libero who plays at Keller High School and competes for [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball Club. She is the definition of a steady and reliable back row defender who brings consistency to every phase of the game. What immediately stands out is her platform control and ability to deliver clean, accurate passes that keep her team in system. She reads the game extremely well and positions herself early, allowing her to make plays look effortless. Her defensive range is impressive as she moves fluidly across the court and reacts quickly to attacks. She also shows great composure in high pressure situations, which is a key trait for any elite libero. Her leadership in the back row helps organize the defense and gives her teammates confidence. Carley is the type of player every top team needs anchoring their serve receive and defense. College coaches will love her height in the position as it allows her to have a more extensive range than most smaller defensive players. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in the state rankings.
