2026 Club Team Overview: Dynamite Adidas 17-1

Minyard is actually a versatile outside hitter/setter combo player that can put the ball away with the best of them. She works that into her setting by using great deception to turn on the ball with aggression, while also making some agile dumps. Minyard shows a lot of high-quality plays on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Hitting Depth</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dynamite has a nice bench of hitters to work with that can be moves around the net to create some flexibility in the lineup. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='806950' first='Olivia' last='Jazwiecki']</strong> and <strong>Erica Holmberg </strong>are primary outsides while <strong>Anna Soneral </strong>is a right side, but <strong>Maddie Mlynarczyk</strong>, <strong>Ellery Geiselman</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='826510' first='Jane' last='Wolf'] </strong>can all be shifted from middle to outside, wherever is needed. Size isn't a big asset for this team when it comes to length, but a lot of these hitters use their explosiveness well and also are capable of making crafty shots when a power swing isn't available.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Reliable Defense</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dynamite has three primary defenders in <strong>Peyton Sterling, Gabby Beydoun</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='807423' first='Sydney' last='Cassidy']</strong>. All three have gotten some good experience at a varsity level, taking on experience and athletic hitters. It shows in their consistent play in the back row for Dynamite. Beydoun and Cassidy look like two of the promising defensive stars in this class, while Sterling has shown that she can also shift to outside and be an all-around player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Season Highlights</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's been a promising season for Dynamite Adidas 17-1. Playing against promising and talented competition, Dynamite has put up steady top-10 finishes. Last week, it got a good feel for where it is amongst other clubs in the state, playing in Motor City Madness. They were on the doorstep of more wins, just came up a few points short. With size not on their size, fundamentals and avoiding errors will be key if the group hopes to finish the club season on a high note.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
