The Class of 2028 is a really talented group of volleyball prospects, but not all have been able to crack our rankings as of yet.

It's still worth taking some time to look at some of the Watch List prospects in the Class of 2028 as there's many who will be ranked in the years ahead.

Here's our last look at some of the 2028 Watch List players that have been making some waves over the school year.

[player_tooltip player_id='709804' first='McKenzie' last='Reid'], DS/L Lake Orion/High Performance

Reid is definitely a defensive standout worth keeping an eye on. She took on the libero jersey for Lake Orion this fall and showed a lot of maturity and control in the position. She sees the ball well and makes good adjustments at the last second to get an accurate feed to her setter. The sky is the limit for her as she's got big-match experience already.

[player_tooltip player_id='765800' first='Olive' last='Rivera'], OH Churchill/Legacy

Rivera makes a lot of kills look effortless for her, as she has good vision for open spaces and isn't afraid to go with an offspeed attack. Even a simple wind up generates a lot of power for her. As her intensity keeps picking up each month, it should make her attacks even more difficult to stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='732303' first='Annie' last='Saenz'], MH/OH Concord

Saenz was a dominant player for Concord this fall, putting up nearly 500 kills while still being a major contributor with her blocking and defensive play. Saenz looked very comfortable in a lead role and it bodes well from what she should be able to do in the next two years with Concord.

[player_tooltip player_id='849996' first='Tianna' last='Sutherland'], OH/MB Seaholm/High Performance

Sutherland has a high ceiling for where she can take her game. She plays longer than her 5'9” listing, as she's got a lot of explosiveness off the floor. She stays ready and aggressive at the net, both on offense and defense. That allows her to make hustle plays that some of her peers won't. There's still room for her to grow as a hitter, but she's got a good foundation right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='765250' first='Lakyn' last='Wallis'], OH/DS Kingsford

Wallis has a nice athletic approach on her attacks. She covers plenty of space and her arm mechanics are sound. She has shown she can finish from either end of the net. Defensively, Wallis moves well and stays low to the ground to make some tough digs as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='724836' first='Addison' last='Weber'], OH Ubly/Legacy

Weber proved she can be a lead player for a successful team in her efforts to lead Ubly to Kellogg Arena. She has a well-rounded game, being able to contribute with her attacks, her defense, and her serving. She's pushing herself this club season to compete against some faster competition to bring her game to another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='559579' first='Quinn' last='Ziegler'], OH Caledonia/MVA

Ziegler showed a lot of good things as a right side for Caledonia this fall. She kept getting better in her finishing rate, while being able to up to velocity of her attacks. Ziegler also had some highlights as a defender and a blocker. There's a lot of positive things she can take into the fall of 2026, where she should see increased opportunities.
