Earle (pictured) played a huge role in 18U Black's 3-0 Day with her serving. Earle had a number of aggressive floater serves that opponents struggled with, thus keeping them out of system and creating a lot of free balls to help the 18U Black develop a better offensive rhythm. Earle also displayed great, contagious energy on the court.

Travis has a quick arm swing and possesses great energy on the court. She reacts well at the net on deflected balls. Travis has good form on double blocks, trying to at least deflect balls to slow them down for defensive specialists, if she can't downright block them. Travis also forces balls high and wide with her height. Travis pounds down overpassed balls with authority. Club head coach Jenny Richardson said Travis is more than capable of big hits. It's a matter of getting around the setter more and calling for balls. Travis said she's worked on cheering more when her teammates make big plays.

Joiner has found ways to run more proficient offenses. Joiner has deceptive serves and sends out of system balls toward the net. Joiner also made a number of nice passes throughout the day. Joiner said she's trying to be more consistent on the court and has been working on making connections with hitters during club season.

Von Bokel has focused on her speed at the net both offensively and defensively and it is paying off. Von Bokel takes nice cross shots and taps soft shots to shallow parts of the court. Von Bokel takes aggressive serves and influences the net a number of ways. Opponents can not go soft on her or she'll quickly send balls the opposite direction at the net. Von Bokel and another hitter often approach the net together, thus taking blockers with her and opening hitting lanes for teammates.

McCarty has quick hands at setter. She does a great job putting her teammates in position to succeed. She can also make solid first passes then quickly get into her attacking position to take sound rips. Her all-around play goes a long way for both Heritage and the 18 Krystin team.
