These young setters didn't just hold their own—they elevated the level of play with their confidence, decision-making, and ability to run an offense beyond their years.   From controlling tempo to creating opportunities out of chaos, this group showed a deep understanding of the game and a willingness to lead. Their connections with hitters, defensive effort, and court awareness set them apart in a competitive field.   Here's a look at the 2030 setters who made a statement and proved the future of Arizona volleyball is in very good hands. Her jump setting is clean and consistent, allowing her to keep the tempo fast and the offense unpredictable. She delivers the ball exactly where her hitters need it, creating high-quality opportunities in every rotation. From start to finish, she runs a smooth, efficient offense and never looks out of rhythm.   What elevates her even more is how she competes—playing with urgency, intent, and a relentless motor. She leaves everything on the floor every time she steps on it, bringing both consistency and edge to the position.     [player_tooltip player_id='955429' first='Ariana' last='Robinson'] showcased a high-level volleyball IQ throughout the showcase, consistently making smart, intentional decisions with the ball. She knows when to lean on her hitters and when to take control herself, confidently mixing in setter dumps and reading the defense under pressure.   She moves quickly and efficiently, putting herself in position to make quality plays no matter the pass. What stands out just as much is her effort—she competes hard every rally and brings a relentless edge to the position. With her feel for the game and work rate, she's only going to continue to grow and elevate her impact. She may be undersized, but she competes with a presence and toughness that more than makes up for it. Her defensive effort was relentless, and she did an excellent job keeping her team organized and effective even when they were out of system.   What really stands out is her leadership. She plays with confidence, communicates well, and takes ownership of the court well beyond her years. Renee is a dynamic competitor with a very bright future ahead.     As one of the youngest setters in the gym, [player_tooltip player_id='846625' first='Dina' last='Faalogo'] played with a level of poise and control well beyond her years. She ran the offense with effortless tempo and consistent accuracy, never looking rushed or overwhelmed in big moments. You wouldn't have known she was one of the youngest on the floor.   What really stood out was her ability to deliver to the right side—clean, precise, and on time every single rep. She maintains a neutral body position through contact, disguising her intentions and keeping blockers guessing. A polished, composed setter with a very high ceiling. We also noticed that she was one of the first ones in the gym, ready to ball out from the beginning.     [player_tooltip player_id='920796' first='Charlotte' last='Clayton'] showcased outstanding ball control all weekend, bringing consistency and reliability to every touch. She hustled relentlessly, never giving up on a play, and did an excellent job turning tough passes—especially balls in the net—into playable opportunities for her team.   Defensively, she tracked the ball exceptionally well and covered a ton of ground, finding a way to get to nearly everything. Her effort, positivity, and ability to keep rallies alive made her a steady, impactful presence on the court. She stood out not only for her consistent, quality ball delivery, but for the way she impacted the game beyond the second contact. Her presence was undeniable—she was vocal, composed, and in control, confidently running the floor and keeping her team organized.
