She brought great energy and a positive attitude to the court, making her someone her teammates could truly count on.   Defensively, she was always in the right place—tracking balls off the block, pursuing every touch, and reading tips and shots with confidence. Her consistency, effort, and presence made her a key piece in the back row.     Emma Dougherty was an incredibly impactful presence throughout the showcase, bringing stability and control to the back row. She served as a true anchor, showing the versatility to play across multiple positions while maintaining consistency in every phase.   She took charge on free balls, communicated clearly, and came up with key defensive saves that kept her team in system. Her ball control stood out, but what truly elevated her game was her calm, steady presence—she's the kind of player every team relies on to keep things composed and connected.     We were very impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='905735' first='Gabby' last='Fernandez']'s defense, especially in middle back—a position that demands toughness and high-level reads. She covered the corners extremely well, stayed a step ahead of hitters, and did a great job supporting her wing defenders. Out of system, she remained composed and put up clean, playable balls, giving her team a chance to stay in rhythm. A polished, dependable presence in the back row. She played with relentless effort, refusing to let a ball drop in her zone and consistently finding a way to make the play.   Her defense was reliable and impactful, and it didn't take long for her teammates to trust her. Even in a short time together, it was clear they knew she would have their back on every rally.     Arianna Hoffman was everywhere on defense, making her presence felt in every rally. As one of the younger defenders in the gym, you'd never know it by the level she played at—she competed with confidence, composure, and maturity beyond her years.   She was fearless, never hesitating to hit the floor, and showed impressive accuracy on her digs. Her ability to come up with “pancake” saves added another level to her game and kept her team alive in key moments.
