[player_tooltip player_id='958556' first='Liv' last='O'Dell'], a Class of 2030 setter out of Mater Dei High School and Momentous Volleyball Club, showed a confident command of the offense well beyond her years. She consistently delivered a clean, hittable ball and demonstrated a strong understanding of tempo, allowing hitters to stay in rhythm throughout the session. What stood out most was her ability to stay composed when plays broke down, finding ways to still create quality opportunities out of system. She moved well defensively and showed active communication, taking ownership of the court in a way that you want from a young setter. There was a natural flow to how she distributed, keeping defenses from settling in. Her decision making showed early maturity, especially in recognizing when to spread the offense versus feeding a hot hand. Liv is a young setter who already shows the foundation of a true floor general. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors for this showcase.

Nia Cook, a Class of 2027 outside hitter from Dimond High School and Impact Volleyball Club, brought a strong physical presence and a confident attacking mindset to the showcase. She showed the ability to generate power from the pin while still maintaining control, making her a reliable scoring option throughout the session. Nia handled serve receive responsibilities with composure, proving she can contribute as a true six rotation player. There were multiple sequences where she created offense out of less than ideal sets, which speaks to her ability to adjust and stay aggressive. She competed with intensity and did not shy away from taking big swings in key moments. Her energy carried over into all phases of the game, including defensive effort and transition play. Nia left a strong impression as a player who can impact the match in multiple ways. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors for this showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='956587' first='Alva-Sophia' last='Centino'], a Class of 2030 libero from Troy High School and Pro Play Volleyball Club, was a standout in the back row with her quickness and defensive instincts. She read hitters well and consistently put herself in position to control first contact, keeping her team in system. Her platform was steady and she showed the ability to handle pace, delivering accurate passes even under pressure. What separated her was her range, covering a large portion of the court and extending rallies with effort plays. She brought a high level of energy that was noticeable from start to finish. There was a confidence in how she handled every touch, never looking overwhelmed by the pace of play. Alva-Sophia proved to be a reliable and impactful defensive presence throughout the showcase. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors for this showcase.
