Prep Dig continued its partnership with USA Volleyball at the West Coast National Qualifier Showcase, held at the Momentous Sports Center on April 1st. The event brought together athletes from across the region looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. Let's take a closer look at three players who earned Top Performer honors based on what they showed on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='940547' first='Keilah' last='Dulay'], a Class of 2028 libero from Otay Ranch High School and Pointbreak Volleyball Club, made a strong impression with her speed and defensive instincts. Despite her size, she covers the court exceptionally well and plays with a fearless approach that allows her to take away space in the back row. Keilah reads hitters early and reacts quickly, often putting herself in position before the ball is fully developed. Her passing was consistent throughout the session, and she showed the ability to control tough serves while keeping her team in system. There is a relentless quality to her game, especially in scramble situations where she refuses to let the ball hit the floor. Numerous times she came flying out of nowhere to save the point from scoring and keeping her team in the rally. I also loved how she covered every hitter with intensity. She really knows her role and how to execute it at a high level. She brings energy on every point and stays engaged from start to finish. Keilah proved that defensive range and mentality can completely shift the flow of a match. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='938421' first='Piper' last='Moore'], a Class of 2028 right side and outside hitter from San Marcos High School and SoCal Volleyball Club, showcased her versatility and physical presence on the court. She has the size to be effective at either pin and showed comfort transitioning between roles without losing rhythm. Piper attacks with a confident swing and does a good job using the full court, keeping defenders from settling into predictable patterns. There were moments where her ability to adjust mid play stood out, especially when working through imperfect sets. She also contributed at the net defensively, using her length to challenge opposing hitters. Her game has a balanced feel, allowing her to impact multiple phases without forcing production. Piper is a player who can give a lineup flexibility while still maintaining a strong offensive presence. Her court coach remarked about her teamwork and communication when both on and off of the court. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='786921' first='Caitlin' last='Kiemele'], a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Martin Luther King High School and [program_tooltip program_id='495219' first='Rancho' last='Valley Volleyball'] Club, and currently on the Prep Dig California State Rankings Watch List, showed why she is a name to keep an eye on. At 6'0”, she brings a solid physical frame to the middle and plays with purpose on every contact. Caitlin does a good job reading the setter and getting into position early, allowing her to be effective as a blocker. Offensively, she showed the ability to connect on quick tempo sets and finish plays when given opportunities. There were stretches where she controlled the net, influencing both attacking lanes and transition opportunities. There is no doubt in my mind after watching her perform that she can play at a high level at any front row position. This kind of versatility will be key in her recruitment moving forward. She competes with intent and stays active throughout rallies, which is key for the middle position. Caitlin's performance backed up her Watch List status and pointed toward continued upward momentum. We are definitely going to keep our eye on her to see how much progress she makes in her craft. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.

As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. You can also DM me in Instagram and X by searching @CoachMikeDZ. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following us, Prep Dig Texas Family! Don't be afraid to interact with us. We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments. Keep them coming!
