The event brought together athletes from across the region looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. Let's take a closer look at three players who earned Top Performer honors based on what they showed on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='843206' first='Kenidee' last='Lemmer'], a Class of 2027 right side hitter from North Platte High School and Wild West Volleyball Academy, and currently listed on the official Prep Dig Nebraska State Watch List, earned her Top Performer honors at this showcase and it came as no surprise to anyone who watched her compete. She brings a physical presence on the right pin that is difficult to ignore, attacking with power and a willingness to be the player her team looks to in critical moments. What stands out about Kenidee is how she uses her size and athleticism together on both sides of the ball. She does not just swing hard, she plays with an awareness of the block and finds ways to score even when the defense is set up against her. Her net game on the right side is also worth noting, as she challenges hitters and stays engaged defensively rather than treating the back half of the rally as a rest period. Coming out of a program in western Nebraska that does not always get the national spotlight, she has gone out and earned recognition on her own merits by competing hard in open environments like this one. Wild West Volleyball Academy has given her a platform to develop and be seen, and she has made the most of it. Kenidee is a ranked prospect with the upside and the competitive character to climb further as her senior season approaches. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

Abbygail Martin, a Class of 2029 libero from Bakersfield Christian School and Torch Volleyball Club, earned her Top Performer recognition at this showcase by doing exactly what great liberos do, which is making every ball look manageable and keeping her team in system when the point gets hard. At 5'3", she is compact and low to the ground, which works in her favor as a back row defender given how quickly she can change direction and absorb the court. Her reading ability showed up consistently throughout the session, allowing her to anticipate rather than react, which is a sign that the volleyball IQ is already developing at a high level for someone her age. Abbygail's passing platform was steady in serve receive, and she controlled pace well rather than letting tough serves knock her offline. There were several moments where her competitive energy visibly lifted the people around her. She plays with an intensity in the back row that sets a tone. Torch Volleyball Club is a young and driven program out of Bakersfield, and she looks like exactly the kind of player that helps build something. Abbygail is a 2029 libero who has already shown the instincts and the mentality to be a serious recruiting name well before her class is on most coaches' boards. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='916668' first='Emily' last='Penuel'], a Class of 2028 outside and right side hitter from Desert Ridge High School and Club One Volleyball, and currently ranked No. 144 in the Prep Dig Arizona State Rankings, took her Top Performer recognition at this showcase and backed it up with a performance that showed why she is drawing attention in one of the most competitive states in the country. At 5'10", she has the frame to play at both pins effectively, and she has clearly put in the work to develop the footwork and mechanics that allow her to be a scoring threat from either position. She attacks with confidence and does not shy away from taking swings in contested moments, which tells you she trusts her training and is not just going through motions on the court. Her ability to play multiple positions is a genuine recruiting asset. Desert Ridge competes in one of Arizona's toughest 6A environments, and the experience of performing at that level shows in how composed she is when the game speeds up. Club One has a track record of developing and placing players at the next level, and she fits the profile of a prospect that program is built to elevate. Emily is a player whose ranking will not stay at 144 for long if she continues on this trajectory. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.
