’26 Michigan Commitment Catch-Up: What’s Next? (Pt. 7)

Check it out now!</a>   --   These last few weeks have been red hot for the commitment catch up! There has been a wave of big time announcements from across the state.   From the Division 1 powerhouses to the NAIA programs, we have had it all. These announcements have made it nothing short of an exciting time to see where some of the state's most promising prospects have decided to go to next.   Next up, we are already to part 7 in thie 2026 line of commitment catch up, we have a slew of athletes taking their talents to top programs in the NAIA space as well as the NCAA. Take a look for yourself where these next five are going.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='516948' first='Lola' last='Brown'] to Gannon</h2>   6'1 MB - Traverse City St. Francis/Northshore   This middle blocker may have been falling under the radar, but she's managed to catch the eye of a D2 Powerhouse in Gannon University. [player_tooltip player_id='516948' first='Lola' last='Brown'] has been one of the premier talents to come from the Traverse City area, an area chock full of dandies. At 6'1, Brown provides a good size in the middle with a lot of potential in her offensive range.   Brown will be taking her talents to Gannon after narrowing her picks between the perennial PSAC powers and one of the stronger programs in the GLIAC, up in the UP.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='916026' first='Lily' last='Klein'] to Aquinas</h2>   6'3 MB - Flat Rock/Pulse   Maybe not a middle blocker to fall under the radar, but [player_tooltip player_id='916026' first='Lily' last='Klein'] has been having a break out year in volleyball. She began this breakout in the fall with Flat Rock where she was one of the critical pieces in leading the Rams to their historic season. Now, she's been running the rounds in the local level tournament with Pulse. This has managed to catch the eye of Aquinas in Grand Rapids.   With a presence that Klein's sheer presence provides at the net alongside her raw nature, this could be a major grab for the impending NAIA powerhouse.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Delany Gilmore to Ava Marie</h2>   5'6 S - Brighton/Dynamite   Who wouldn't want to play their college ball in the sunshine of Florida? Well, you know where to find Delaney Gilmore. This is a player that is steadily been an exciting piece for both Brighton and L2 volleyball over the course of these last four years. She has most recently played for Dynamite for her final season of club. Here, is where she found her home in Ava Marie.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='459740' first='Aubrey' last='Reynolds'] to Findlay</h2>   6'0 OH - Caledonia/MVA   Findlay is snagging up a lot of talent from the Mitten state. Last week, we talked about the commitment of [player_tooltip player_id='810418' first='Adlin' last='Moore'] in the middle. Now, Findlay has found their pin for the 2027 class in [player_tooltip player_id='459740' first='Aubrey' last='Reynolds'].   This is a player that has steadily become a really nice prospect in this class. On the outside, Reynolds has grown to be all that you'd want in the position. She has a strong arm and a nice range of shots up her sleeve. She has no issue with high volume either in which we saw in the fall with Caledonia.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson'] to Oakland</h2>   5'10 OH - Milford/L2   From one outside to another, [player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson'] has been one in this class that we have been patiently waiting to hear from. Alas, we now know that Pierson will be staying home and will be an Oakland Grizzly. Another in-state grab from the program, marking over 5 between the 2027 and 2026 classes.   Pierson is the kind of prospect that could very much aid in the Grizzlies aspirations to turn the tides. A 5'10 outside hitter with a nice pop to her hop and a lot of potential in multiple positions.
