Class of 2028 Prospect Roulette for May

<p>As we wind down May, it's a good opportunity to get back to our Prospect Roulette for the Class of 2028.</p>   <p>Here's how it works. We take the 100 prospects in our Class of 2028 and randomize the numbers. Whatever 10 numbers get landed on, we provide a little info on that player. Let's get things started.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>80. [player_tooltip player_id='806848' first='Myla' last='Bellavoine'], DS/L Novi/L2</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Bellavoine shows good consistency when it comes to form and technique. She stays low to the ground and gets clean contact on the ball while being able to keep herself squared up. Her footwork shows promise, as she's done a good job of keeping up with fast-paced play.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>35. [player_tooltip player_id='582914' first='Ellie' last='Kileen'], MB/RS GRCC/MVA</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">A 6-foot hitter that can play anywhere along the net, Kileen brings a lot of good intangibles to the floor. She's not just length, but has a lot of explosiveness off the floor and uses good footwork to lay down some sharp attack angles. Defensively, Kileen is proving to be an impact blocker.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>85. [player_tooltip player_id='742032' first='Nyla' last='Linton'], S St. Catherine/L2</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Linton is a combo player, that can slide to the right side on top of being a setter. She's very agile and moves well on the court. On top of that, she displays a high court IQ to make the smart play to fool opponents. Linton is a setter to keep an eye on in this class.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>99. [player_tooltip player_id='939686' first='Zoe' last='Taylor'], MB Okemos/FaR Out</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Taylor is a player that could be in line for a breakout year, as her explosiveness matches up with anyone in this class. She's got tremendous arm speed and a potent follow through to light up the ball and make it nearly unstoppable for opponents. Taylor is only going to get faster and more powerful in the years ahead.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>63. [player_tooltip player_id='791651' first='Anna' last='Groustra'], DS/L GP South/Legacy</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Groustra shows a lot of good instincts in the back row. She reads the ball well and knows when she needs to sprint forward to get to a ball, or back track to keep one in play. She's able to remain accurate while on the move and makes the routine plays look effortless.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>47. [player_tooltip player_id='587009' first='Kaitlyn' last='Koceski'], DS/L Novi/Legacy</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Another strong defensive prospect from Novi, Koceski is already making a name for herself in this class. She's got top-level first contact, while maintaining great form on her digs and serve receive. Koceski has also shown she can step up on offense with a thunderous back-row attack.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>18. [player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'], OH Roscommon/Mid-Michigan Aces</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">One of the shining stars in Northern Michigan, Williams brings a tremendous work ethic to the floor and it shows in her ability to make a play in all phases of the game. She's got a very athletic swing while covering a lot of space in her approach. She's also a top-level defender that can make a really tough dig, then put down an electric serve.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>6. [player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], S SL East/Michigan Elite</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">At 6'2”, Kiernan brings great length to the setting position, but she's not all about size, as she's got great quickness and accuracy in her toolkit as well. Kiernan can make very athletic sets and mix up the speed of the offense, while also being able to turn on the ball herself for a vicious kill.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>22. [player_tooltip player_id='526553' first='Liv' last='Wender'], S GRCC/Legacy</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Wender showed a lot of promise as one of the top setters in this class as a freshman and is due for a breakout year in 2026 after transferring to GRCC. She's very driven to become an elite talent and has been able to hold her own against some of the best in the nation during club season.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>50. [player_tooltip player_id='587001' first='Brenna' last='Mcmaster'], OH Trenton/Michigan Elite</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">A 6-footer that can play on either end of the net, she's got a vertical swing that makes it tough for the blockers to slow her down. Mcmaster sees the floor well and does a good job of working in offspeed shots to open areas of the floor. There's still a big ceiling for where she can take her game.</p>
