Bleemel (pictured) has worked on developing some offensive consistency during club season, hoping to fill in an offensive role after Thomas Nelson graduates four of its top six hitters. Bleemel does a good job getting hands on balls with good timing and hopes to create room for teammates with an improved offensive rhythm. Bleemel has shown she can take swings from the back row when needed.

A mixed repertoire of swings helped Smith emerge as a sound force in the middle for the Tigers. Smith makes a lot of things happen on ones with a nice rhythm and high attack point. She shoves off blocks for big points. Smith shoves off shots to the sides and does a good job placing overpassed balls away from defenders.

Hayes emerged as a sound option to give the Cardinals balance and pick up some slack when the main hitter was injured. Hayes showed effective play on the right side. She angles balls off blocks for huge points. She is not afraid to tip over double blocks if the defensive specialists are playing deep. Hayes also runs an effective offense and has great timing on her blocks. Hayes had 158 kills, 102 digs and 34 aces last fall, helping the Cardinals go 20-13, win a fourth straight 20th District crown and drive back to the 5th Region Tournament.

Settles helped give the Commanderettes the balance needed to improve the record by nine wins from the previous season. Settles places balls well in the middle and at the pins. Settles has a nice arm swing, making a number of good things on ones. Settles tips to open parts of the court and hits balls through double blocks. If she improves her offensive rhythm during club season, that will help her become a more effective hitter.

Devore uses a good volleyball IQ to place balls away from defenders and lead the Raiders in kills. Devore sends good roll and off shots off blockers and out of bounds for big points. Devore sends across well-placed crosses when the Raiders need big points. Quicker attack rhythms and arm swings could help Devore take her game to the next level.
