Black has a standing reach of six feet, 10 inches and fully uses that to her advantage. Black does a great job finding open spots on the court via hard swings and tips via mid-air adjustments. She especially makes a lot of things happen on shoots. Black even takes hard swings from the back row. She continuously finds way to hit over and around double blocks whether line or cross shots. Mejias even takes hard back row swings. Mejias has developed a powerful spinning jump serve. Mejias gives the team sound play at all six spots on the floor. Mejias dives for balls when necessary, yet stays under control. Prado does not lock her arms allowing for better touch and ball control. She does not lean much if at all on back sets. Prado makes the post of sets. Prado makes quality first touches then quickly gets into attack position. Prado comes behind fakes to surprise opponents. The lefty puts across sound jump sets and does a good job running the Dyer County offense. She involves a number of hitters. Ray mixes in deceptive setter dumps to keep opponents guessing. Ray is very aggressive at the net on her blocking, moving her arms while in the air trying to make plays. She uses a good platform to make sound first touches. Ray makes pancake digs and displays great enthusiasm on the court. She makes the simple passes. Peterson keeps her feet moving in anticipation of balls and even lowers her platform to reach for balls when needed. Peterson takes steps back and swings her arms to the side, but still keeps her feet aimed at the target.
