This will be my first foray into ranking the Kansas crew after expanding my role with Prep Network in the Sunflower State. I've been churning out Nebraska rankings for years, but this will be a new challenge requiring a ton of effort and consideration. We're diving straight into the deep end!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Official release dates for the next updates are still to be determined. However, work has already begun on compiling a list of names that need to be in our database. That list includes plenty of 2029s, as our journey with that group is just getting started.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our Kansas 2029 watch list and rankings are about to undergo a dramatic expansion. Several star freshmen have landed on our radar through this year's club season. Cody loomed large in the effort and bolstered a strong, physical middle blocker unit. She made an initial impression during KC Power's early-season trip to Premier Nebraska, but Cody's best moments have come on the national stage. Her hard-hitting style paid dividends as 15-2 earned a runner-up finish in Show Me's 15 USA race. We got a glimpse of Lindsay and her stacked squad as they battled through the 15 Open division at Show Me. Lindsay made a big splash with her frontcourt scoring, but she does a lot more than that for PVA. She is also a stout server who will bring maximum effort to the back row in the 'M1' position. Manhattan Mamba 15-1 has logged some impressive results on the Heart of America scene with Heidrick guiding the operation as a leading setter. This Manhattan freshman is a driven multi-sport athlete and has ample finesse to distribute an offense. Heidrick also brings the kind of defensive grit we've already come to expect from Manhattan-area clubs. Blasi has brought this trend to the forefront with her burst on the left side for Shockwave 15 Black. Her quickness is not just applicable to her work at the net, either. This roster still has some names to plug into our database, and True is certainly a notable one. This Olathe North pin hitter did a little of everything for the Eagles last fall, racking up dozens of kills while tabbing nearly 200 total digs in the back row. This stat-stuffing approach embodies what has made MAVS KC so successful in the Heart of America Region. So, it's no wonder that True and 15 Elite have made Gold bracket runs at MEQ and SLC to lock up a USAV Nationals berth.
