The front row talent heading into NCR RTDP is loaded with athletes who can change the flow of a match in a hurry. From middles running quick tempo attacks and closing seams at the net to pins finding ways to terminate in and out of system, this group brings a high ceiling heading into training. What stands out most is the versatility. Players are not just relying on size or athleticism, they are showing advanced footwork, arm speed, transition timing, and the ability to read the game at a high level.

RTDP continues to bring together athletes who are pushing themselves against top competition, and this year's front-row group has plenty of players capable of drawing attention. Whether it is establishing the block, creating offensive mismatches, or finding ways to score against disciplined defenses, these athletes are coming in ready to compete and make statements on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='396876' first='Lauren' last='Bunge'] is walking into NCR RTDP as one of the most complete middles in the state, and there is a reason Texas Tech wasted no time locking her in. Lauren dominates the middle because she impacts every phase of the match. She gets off the floor effortlessly, runs tempo at a high level, and creates constant pressure on opposing blockers because of how fast she transitions and stays available offensively. Her ability to close seams with disciplined hands and take away angles at the net changes how teams attack. Offensively, she is explosive in front of the setter, dangerous behind the setter, and can still terminate when the ball drifts off system. What separates Lauren is not just the physical tools, it is how polished and controlled she already is. She plays like a middle who understands how to own the pace of a match, and when she gets rolling, defenses start scrambling.

Brenna De Vries looks like a player who is ready to take a massive jump after the club season she just put together. She brings a blue-collar edge to the middle position that coaches love because she competes with urgency every single rally. Brenna is constantly active laterally, working to beat hitters to spots and staying aggressive in transition. She attacks with heavy intent and has shown the ability to create points even when the set is tight or out of rhythm. One of the biggest things that jumps out is how physical she plays at the net. She does not shy away from contact, and her block presence continues to become more disruptive. RTDP feels like the perfect stage for Brenna because she thrives in high-energy environments where athletes are pushed to compete. Expect her to bring intensity, emotion, and a nonstop motor every time she steps on the court.

Lainey Scheper is the type of young middle that instantly makes coaches stop and pay attention. Standing 6'0” already in the class of 2030, she brings a ceiling that is hard to ignore, but what makes her dangerous is that she is already developing the technical side of the position far ahead of her age group. Lainey moves extremely well laterally, closes blocks with purpose, and shows natural timing reading hitters before pressing over the net. Offensively, her contact point is already elite for her age, and when she attacks in rhythm, the ball jumps off her arm. There is still so much room for physical growth, which is exactly what makes her one of the most intriguing players entering RTDP. She has the tools, the size, and the early volleyball instincts that point toward becoming a high-level front-row force over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='453085' first='Kaelyn' last='Bjorklund'] is simply different. Even as one of the top setters in Minnesota and a Clemson commit, her ability to step over to the right pin and still completely control a match says everything about her volleyball IQ and athleticism. Kaelyn processes the game at an elite level. She understands defensive positioning before she even leaves the floor, manipulates blockers with her vision, and attacks with confidence in pressure moments. As a right-side attacker, she creates matchup nightmares because she can score in-system, out-of-system, and transition seamlessly between roles. Her arm speed, body control, and ability to attack from difficult angles makes her incredibly hard to defend. But beyond the skill, it is the competitive fire that stands out most. Kaelyn carries herself like a player who expects to take over matches, and RTDP gives her another opportunity to remind everyone exactly why she is the top-ranked player in Minnesota.

Hilary Haaven has become one of the biggest names coming out of North Dakota, and she has earned every bit of the attention. The 2029 standout continues to prove that elite-level talent is not limited by geography, because every major event she steps into, she competes like she belongs with the best players in the gym. Hilary plays with fearlessness. She attacks aggressively against bigger blocks, scores from multiple zones, and brings a level of confidence that immediately changes the energy on her side of the court. What makes her exciting is that she is not waiting for moments to happen, she goes and creates them. Her transition offense, ability to elevate under pressure, and willingness to take big swings in critical moments is exactly why college coaches are already tracking her years before contact can even begin. RTDP feels built for a player like Hilary because she thrives when the level rises and the lights get brighter.
