<p>The [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] Blue outside hitter continues to emerge as one of the more intriguing all-around prospects in the 2027 class, combining explosive athleticism, high-level training, academic excellence, and leadership away from the game.</p>

<p>What makes Ballard's rise even more impressive is how new she still is to volleyball. After spending 10 years as a competitive all-star cheerleader and tumbler, Ballard only picked up volleyball two years ago. Yet despite the late start, she has already developed into a varsity starter at Bishop Miege while competing against some of the top talent in the country on the club circuit.</p>

<p>The athletic tools immediately stand out. Ballard recently joined the “10-Foot Club,” showcasing the explosiveness and vertical ability that translate naturally to her role as an outside hitter. Her quickness off the floor, arm speed, and aggressive offensive mentality continue to trend upward, especially as she trains with elite performance groups like Gray Wolf Performance and Power Core 360.</p>

<p>This spring, Ballard was invited to compete at the Hitter Setter Libero College All-Star Event in Los Angeles, where she earned MVP honors while competing alongside college commits and collegiate athletes. She also continues to develop in the beach game with KC Prime, recently earning a National bid at the AVP Spring Slam after a second-place finish in 18U competition.</p>

<p>Off the court, Ballard's résumé is equally impressive.</p>

<p>She recently completed her sophomore year at Bishop Miege with a 4.0 GPA and a 4.39 weighted GPA while taking AP and honors coursework. Beyond academics, Ballard serves as a student ambassador for Strive for Life, helping promote heart health awareness and organize screenings for young athletes throughout the Kansas City area.</p>

<p>With USAV Nationals approaching in Indianapolis and the recruiting contact period opening June 15, Ballard enters a critical stretch of her recruiting journey.
