[player_tooltip player_id='573584' first='Larae' last='Jones'], a Class of 2027 outside hitter from McAllen Memorial High School and Texas Fierce Elite Volleyball Club, is a pin hitter from the Rio Grande Valley who competes with a physical toughness and offensive presence that deserves more attention. At 5'9" she brings the frame and the athleticism to compete effectively on the left side at the next level, attacking with a confidence and willingness to swing in contested moments that tells you she has been trained to want the ball rather than avoid it. Memorial competes in a loaded District 30-6A in the Valley against quality UIL opponents on a nightly basis, which means the competition has tested her reads and her composure week after week throughout her high school career. She has earned Top Performer honors at multiple showcases that Prep Dig has put on over the past few years and that proves her consistency. The ability to play multiple front-row positions effectively at her size is genuinely rare and gives any offense a weapon they can deploy in multiple ways. Her Hudl profile shows the athleticism and attacking intent that you project forward with confidence, and the physical ceiling she brings to the position at 6'0" gives college staffs a player who is still developing but already physically projectable. Allison is a versatile 6'0" senior who gives programs exactly the kind of front-row flexibility that is difficult to find in any class. She hammers the ball with a power and conviction that shows up in the biggest moments of playoff matches, finishing kills under pressure rather than going soft when the defense is set up and the crowd is loud. At 5'11" she creates a contact point that gives opposing blockers a legitimate problem on every ball that comes her way on the left side, and she hits with the physicality and efficiency that earned her statewide recognition against the best competition in her classification. Playing alongside a loaded Aledo roster has only sharpened her game because the standard in that gym on a daily basis demands consistent execution from every player regardless of their individual accolades.
