[player_tooltip player_id='579175' first='Aubrey' last='Dean'], a Class of 2027 setter from Lewisville High School and DIG Volleyball Club, is one of the more compelling stories on the entire Texas Watch List and the kind of player that makes you believe in what the position can mean to a team regardless of the circumstances surrounding it. She made varsity as a freshman and was named team captain as a sophomore at a Title I school where club volleyball is simply not financially accessible to most of her teammates, which means she has built everything she has earned with far fewer resources than most prospects her age have taken for granted. She helped lead Lewisville to the playoffs for the first time in 27 years, a detail that tells you she is not just a statistically productive setter but a player who genuinely changes the direction of a program when she walks through the door. Her self-description of thriving in high-pressure situations with quick decision-making, precise ball placement, and a deep understanding of the game is not a recruiting cliche coming from her because the record backs it up. College programs looking for a setter who makes everyone around her better and who has already demonstrated the ability to build something from nothing should be paying close attention to [player_tooltip player_id='579175' first='Aubrey' last='Dean']. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='579210' first='Ryleigh' last='Parker'], a Class of 2027 setter from Rockwall High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431057' first='Arete' last='Athletics'], brings a faith-driven, team-first approach to the setter position that shows up in how she commands the court and how her teammates respond to her presence during a match. At 5'10" she has one of the better physical profiles available at the setter position in the 2027 class in Texas, and the height she brings to the role creates a release point and a net presence that a lot of college coaches will love. Her footwork and mechanics have been refined through consistent private coaching and a demanding club schedule that has put her in front of high-level competition throughout the club season across multiple national events. Ryleigh is a 5'10" setter with the physical tools and the competitive background to generate significant interest from programs at every level entering her senior year. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='472560' first='Kya' last='Alvarez'], a Class of 2027 setter from Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz and [program_tooltip program_id='510823' first='South' last='Texas Volleyball Academy'], is a player whose compact 5'3" frame has never gotten in the way of what she does on the court because the skill set and the competitive instincts have always been well ahead of what the measurements suggest. She has developed her craft in a San Antonio area market that is stacked with high-level volleyball talent and has held her own against quality competition at both the high school and club level throughout her junior career. Her touch on the ball is genuine and refined, delivering sets with a softness and accuracy that gives her hitters a consistent target rather than a moving one, which is the quality that separates setters who are reliable from ones who are truly effective. The court vision she plays with tells you the game is being processed ahead of time rather than reacted to, and that mental processing speed is what allows small setters to compete at the highest levels despite what the recruiting profile dimensions might suggest. Kya is a 2027 setter from the San Antonio area whose game speaks considerably louder than her height and college programs that evaluate her in person will understand immediately why she belongs on this list. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.
