We've talked about or big time players at the net, now it's time to move on to our play makers. Oh yea, setters you're up! The job is not easy and the demand is high for tempo, consistency, and energy. Kills don't happen on their own, so let's talk about the players delivering the ball on a silver platter. Her confidence, leadership, and understanding of the game make her a setter who elevates the players around her. Throughout the past season, she has consistently made her presence known by showcasing a quick tempo, exceptional ball control, and a strong command of her offense. Ava does an outstanding job of delivering quality sets to every hitter across the net, establishing a rhythm that builds confidence throughout her team. Her ability to keep the offense flowing while maintaining consistency under pressure sets her apart. Beyond her technical skills, Ava demonstrates impressive court awareness, reading opposing defenses and moving the ball strategically to create advantageous opportunities for her attackers. She has discovered the magic of utilizing her middles, consistently creating opportunities that keep opposing defenses guessing and out of system. Marisa fights for every play, bringing high energy and determination that fuels her team's tempo from start to finish. She does an excellent job of empowering her middles to stay aggressive while also putting her pin hitters in prime positions to score. From the opening serve, Marisa applies pressure by moving the ball around the court and forcing defenses to adjust early and often.
