The USA Volleyball Junior National Club Championship brings together the best club programs in the country under one roof in Indianapolis, and Prep Dig will be on the floor to scout the field from the very start. As part of the pre-tournament showcase on June 24th at the Indiana Convention Center, several Prep Dig state-ranked prospects and those who are currently unranked but also very intriguing prospects to be from across the country will step onto the court before the main event begins. College coaches looking to get an early read on the next wave of talent would do well to circle the following names before the tournament tipping schedule fills their notebooks. Let's take a look at a few of the names who will be in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='924222' first='Sophie' last='Rahmany'] is a 5'10" setter in an Indiana class of 2029 that is loaded with setting talent. If she has earned any Prep Dig ranking in that competitive pool, it means she has been distinguishing herself in a market that takes setting seriously. Her height is the obvious conversation starter, but the real evaluation on June 24th is how she uses it. Does she release at the top of her range consistently? Does her length create genuine deception that makes hitters' jobs easier? And when the system is built around athletes she has not played with before, does her setting location hold up under the pace and pressure the showcase will bring? Those answers will tell college staffs where she fits in the longer-term conversation. I know I will keep my eyes glued to her court during both the position specific drills and the competitive scrimmage drills and you should as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='781956' first='Finley' last='Weikle'] is already producing at the varsity level as a freshman, posting multiple eight-kill outings during her first season and earning Second Team All-District recognition in a competitive Texas district. At 5'11", she has the frame that programs look for at the pin. What stands out for us in her early production is the consistency she showcases against older talent. She has shown up across multiple matches rather than producing one standout performance and disappearing. A freshman already contributing meaningful kills at the varsity level is a strong early signal, and her ceiling in the 2029 class is one of the more interesting storylines on this roster. We have seen her for the past year show up and show out in a few of our Prep Dig showcases and she consistently earns Top Performer awards due to her production. Let's see if she can earn it at the toughest environment yet.

At 5'10" as an outside hitter, Mila Smith carries a frame that gives her natural advantages in both attacking range and net presence. These are two qualities that separate pin hitters early in their development. The 2029 class still has significant runway ahead, which means the technical habits she builds now around approach footwork, arm swing mechanics, and serve receive discipline will shape how far that frame ultimately takes her. The showcase environment is where evaluators get to see whether a hitter's first-step quickness and shoulder timing hold up against contact she has not seen before and that answer will tell college coaches a great deal about her trajectory heading into her sophomore season. We will be front and venter to see how well she produces against the top talent that is already signed up, so stay tuned for our report on her.
