As the doors filled and the first whistles blew, the temperature inside began to rise right along with the level of play. From the jump, this was a group that came ready. No slow starts, no easing into the morning, just high-energy reps and locked-in focus from sunrise. A handful of athletes made sure their presence was felt early. These weren't just good performances; they were impact moments on the game and in my view. It was consistent across her decision-making, quick thinking, and her ability to keep the defense guessing with her sets as well. Hands are steady and precise. Didn't lack on defense, rotating to the net with a confident, strong swing and back row warrior as well.      Her leadership, grit, and will stood out the most! She kept her team in it with her play-calling and abilities, but vocally, with her ability to keep their morale during tough rallies. Very court-savvy, with vision obvious when watching her, Long arms and athleticism make it easy for her to get into jump sets and get the height needed on every ball. As a server, she is clutch and consistently comes through at the line.      Try to keep up with this back-row anchor, and you will get whiplash. Just as I did, trying to caption a photo of this athlete playing for [program_tooltip program_id='431539' first='414' last='Milwaukee Elite']. She holds all the tools you desire in the modern-day libero: good size, speed, footwork, technique, and IQ. It's her grit and will that can't be measured or bottled up. With that comes a hustle, a work ethic, and consistent play for herself and her teammates that won't let the play stop without her having the last say.     Lily is a textbook example of a key player on this team that went undefeated, but her versatility stood out. She was just a blur on the court, even as a setter. She didn't stop, feet always moving. Quick to get to the ball, knowing where to place it for her hitters at all times. In line with her middle, she sets them up effortlessly, a skill that's always fun to watch.
