Michio won the championship at the Gauntlet with a huge contribution from setter, Hayes. Running a 5-1, Hayes reads the court well, anticipates the ball, and moves quickly to position herself to deliver clean sets to her attackers. Hayes does an Impeccable job seeing the court and moving the ball around to get all of her hitters involved. While she has quite the arsenal of players to choose from, she makes smart setting choices, often resulting in attackers being isolated or having a big seam to hit through.
