She watches hitters and has a nose for balls. Her tenacity on defense is remarkable. She only lunges out of necessity, but keeps plays alive. Cobb can fall back on well-struck balls and uses good range to run forward to pick up tips. Joachim makes sound passes then quickly transitions to offense. When she has good spacing away from the net, Joachim executes an outstanding rhythm on her off shots. Joachim paints the back lines with precision and tips balls off blockers for big points when defensive specialists play back. Joachim is also not afraid to shove balls to corners when they are open. Miller executes a variety of sets with precision. That includes back sets with little lean. Miller adds in set-overs when the seas part in the middle of the floor. Miller has shown her physical strength at the net winning jousts. Miller is very aggressive on defense. Miller makes the simple passes, only leaning out of necessity. She makes pancake digs to keep plays alive. Specht gets on top of balls and deposits them to different parts of the court. She has a quick arm swing making it tough for blockers to time her up. She has developed a great knack for getting on top of balls and mixing in accuracy. She attacks seams with great tenacity. She especially makes things happen with setters put balls in power zone away from the net.
