Corning has great size and has learned how to dominate the net with hit. She has developed a great knack for getting on top of balls and mixing in accuracy. She attacks seams with great tenacity. She especially makes things happen with setters put balls in power zone away from the net. Corning has more than benefitted from the team playing older teams throughout club season.

Corning has developed a great balance between power and control on her hits. She mixes in hard and off shots well. Corning makes good in-air adjustments to attack seams. Corning also does a nice job spacing herself away from the net to take solid swings. Corning said playing in higher age divisions has helped them handle adversity and develop quicker a quicker offensive rhythm.
