Five Sensational Setters from USAV Junior Club Showcase

Hill (pictured) has great touches on her sets. She does not lock her arms on the sets. Hill sends out of system sets back toward the net. Hill also executes a variety of sets including the back set with little to no lean. She is constantly encouraging her teammates. Lowman makes outstanding first touches and sets. Lowman makes sure she bends her arms and extends on her sets. Lowman executes a number of long and short sets, including back sets. On defense, she steps toward balls, but stops in her tracks to make crisp passes. Lowman also does a great job backing up the net. She has smooth hands and makes the most of each set even if out of the preferred setting zones. Eagles involves a number of hitters with great decisions on the court. Eagles also executes the back set with precision. She did a good job trying to put each set into the power zones of the hitters. Stormer consistently found ways to better balls on each touch. Polk hit a number of targets throughout the session. Polk has quick hands and makes good decisions with where to set balls, putting her hitters in position to succeed.
