Five Solid Additions to 2029 Watch List

A number of players found their way onto this list putting up good club seasons. More are to follow in the coming months. These five are ones to watch in the fall. Lamb has a great five-step attack. Lamb extends her arms and follows through to put great power into balls. Lamb reads hitters well and positions herself to make sound first touches. She'll only continue to grow with more repetitions.     Kirkpatrick has already developed a solid arm swing for 15 Red. Kirkpatrick gets on top of balls and smashes them to the ground with a great downward trajectory. Kirkpatrick has a nice vertical jump and the team takes advantage of her ability to go up before double blocks form. Kirkpatrick also teams up well with teammates to form sound double blocks. Kirkpatrick is tough to stop on ones and back sets. Kirkpatrick tools blocks and attacks holes in them with precision. Her high attack point lets her hit balls over and around blocks.     Youngblood makes a lot of great things happen when she has good spacing away from the net. Youngblood delivers a number of ways on go routes. Youngblood sends good off shots to corners and taps down overpassed balls. Youngblood tools blocks and consistently smacks balls into seams making defensive specialists have to move their feet to dig her up.     With a 10-foot attack point, Richardson is able to hit balls over and around blockers consistently. Richardson delivers from both the middle and the pins. She angles balls off blocks for big points and executes a variety of attacks to keep opponents guessing. Richardson also executes a variety of double and solo blocks.     One thing that stands out about Freeman is her effective underhand float serve. Opponents have problems serve receiving it because that technique is rare. Freeman explodes into a five-foot approach, extends and get on top of balls to pound them down lines or deliver powerful crosses. Freeman has a downward trajectory that is comparable to many of the top hitters in the state. She'll be fun to watch these next three years.
