Kirkpatrick has already developed a solid arm swing for 15 Red. Kirkpatrick gets on top of balls and smashes them to the ground with a great downward trajectory. Kirkpatrick has a nice vertical jump and the team takes advantage of her ability to go up before double blocks form. Kirkpatrick also teams up well with teammates to form sound double blocks. Kirkpatrick is tough to stop on ones and back sets. Kirkpatrick tools blocks and attacks holes in them with precision. Her high attack point lets her hit balls over and around blocks.

Kirkpatrick (pictured) delivers strong line kills for 15 Red. She makes solid in-air adjustments and can angle balls off blocks for big points. Kirkpatrick sends across sound serves and hustles hard after balls. Kirkpatrick said she’s worked at improving the timing on her blocks and pressing her hands over block. She got her hands on some balls Saturday showing that improvement.
