Nationals Warm Up Tourney Was "SKY HIGH" With Talent

I'm glad I was able to attend the [program_tooltip program_id='432009' first='Sky' last='High'] Girls National Warm up tournament hosted at [program_tooltip program_id='432009' first='Sky' last='High'] facility in Crystal Lake, IL. So many teams playing and getting themselves tuned up for Nationals. So much great play was on display.    I loved Vivian and how she was working her butt off in that front line. She was focused and ready to compete. She competes hard and I love that!!! Moves well has good size up front. Blocks well at the net, so her get multiple touches throughout the day. Closes blocks and when gets the set can detonate on her opposition. She has a nice swing and gets to the ball quickly. Quick swing and quick to her approach. Fun to watch. Believe her and her team won the 15/16 Open division grabbing 1st Place, Congrats!     Ok, so this girl can play! She is an aggressive OH for Top Flight 15 Elite. She was as impressive of a player as I seen all weekend, especially as a 2029. She is explosive and can jump out the gym. Can just tell she is strong. Strong build, Nice vertical and hits that ball hard. Fully on top of the ball and even opposing blockers. Can hit all the shots ... think I even seen her hit the 10 ft line shot! Impressive. Back row front row didn't matter, she was getting those kills! Eyes on LILY!!!     Lani was another OH on Top Flight 15 elite, who also played all around and was phenomenal to watch as her teammates. Great size, great length and wingspan, and can jump, swing fluently and moves great. AND ... she is a 2030 playing up. Plays wise beyond her years and was dominate at times. Watch her detonate for many kills and even played great defense while in the backrow. This is a 2030 PLAYER TO WATCH right here.     Madison is a very athletic Libero for her club team. I have even seen her be an OH for her school team etc. Can place her anywhere and she is helping your squad. Playing Libero this weekend I saw her make a ton of plays to keep the rally going. Athletic plays with one hand or arm. She is scrappy and skilled everything a coach wants. Was great on serve receive and made money passes on the dot!     Davis had a hammer for an arm. Was watching her play on Sunday in the Gold bracket and when she hits she detonates! Saw her get a few kills early in the game on the RS. You see a lot of teams set their OH ... they were going to DAVIS early and often on the RS. Seems to be a quick jumper and just comes down on the ball for kills with power. Liked what I saw!     I must have watched this girl get over 10 kills in the match I saw. She killed it from every spot in the front row. Nice kills from the OH position with power and tooling the block. Some nice crosscourt shots from the middle position and RS. Did a nice job hitting around the block and the swing looked strong. Getting the hand up high, elbow up and contacting down on top of that ball. Good showing from Nichols!     Jordyn did a great job in the back row for her squad. Saw her dig some hard-driven balls, and she passed perfect 3s to her setter! She is always ready, active, and anticipating the play. Great positive energy and just carries herself well. The DS position doesn't get enough love sometimes; happy to shed a light. Did a nice job in serve-receive as well and kept plays alive.    These girls did a great job for their club. Always impressed by the talent and the instruction these players are getting. Everyone was looking good!
