New Players Gaining Our Attention On Our Watchlist

Just in Minnesota, over 1,000 girls are playing. These girls have been putting in the time and have caught our attention. From setters to hitters and the back row. These girls are working and putting in the time. She is very confident at the net. She works really hard at scoring in multiple ways. She could be tooling off the block, trying to attack the seams, and shot placement is the biggest key. Carlee always stays calm under pressure and steps up as a leader. She is constantly working from pin to pin, closing blocks and taking away attacking angles at the net. When Brooke transitions off the block into a quick-tempo attack, she makes it look effortless. She does so many fundamentals of the position well that she consistently stands out. Even during some of the toughest plays, Greta never appears rattled. She stays steady with her platform and makes first contact look seamless. She knows where to be in covering her hitters. Greta has been strong at reading the opposing team and at anticipating and beating the ball to the spot. Teagan does such a great job balancing her hitters; she can make decisions during transitions and knows exactly what to do in out-of-system plays. She never looks rushed, and she is celebrating her teammates. She understands her role as an all-around player, from first contact to running into transition, and even lifting her teammates when they are struggling. She is constantly talking on the court.
